  1. We have our hearing from pulling out from our 1st Round Scottish cup tie on Monday 22nd of October, the club were unable to field 11 players mainly due to injury. We gave as much notice as we could to avoid any costs towards our opponents. A letter has been submitted in but don’t think it will make much difference
  2. The way the senior set up is now with teams requiring an u20 side also has a knock on affect, at Leslie we have 7 players aged between 17-19, if they show their potential and do well clubs will be looking at them, but hopefully they are happy at playing week in week out and decide to stay
  3. Oh right I never knew that, but I don’t think the championship cup has had any games yet, to be honest my club has probably got the least amount of games left in the lesgue but we’re still going to have a minimum of 13 games left, there are clubs who have a lot more than us
  4. I agree with what is being said but if we don’t want the Championship cup and the division 1 cups being played in league sections then it has to be sorted out before this Saturday. I’m only going on what happened last season when the cup was put into mini leagues teams picked up injuries and suspensions and with it being a cup trialists weren’t allowed to play
  5. I’m just looking at last season a few teams pulled out halfway through the section games as they were struggling to get players to field a team every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. I think if we hadn’t got this bad weather in recent weeks it would have worked out fine but now it’s going to be a bit of a rush to get games in, that’s only my opinion though
  6. Think the winter has come later this year and a decision was made to put the cups into league sections as some teams only had a few games left to play at the start of Feb. One suggestion is keeping the league sections but only playing each other once, 2 at home and 2 away. It will end up the same as last year with teams who have no chance of progressing from their group, withdrawing from the competition to save money on unfullfilling fixtures and getting a £50 fine each time. The decision would have to made before the first game in each group though so it might be a bit difficult to implement it before then
  7. Was there anything decided at last nights meeting?
  8. Ceejay so tell us what they do the if you know? I’ve been involved with the off the field stuff for about 3 years now and I can’t think of any occasion that they have helped my club in anyway.
  9. Exactly Bob, that’s my point, why should we all work hard to keep our clubs going and the SAFA reap the rewards. Think it might be time for us to make a stand and say no, it might just be the catalyst that is needed for them to sit up and take notice that we just won’t cave in to the demands they are making
  10. Why don’t the SAFA try and get some sponsorship to help out with costs, the clubs have to go out and find sponsors to keep them going, surely the association should be leading by example. Don’t they understand that it’s hard enough to keep a club going and asking for more money will be the final nail in the coffin for some clubs
  11. The games they have played are now void, so if your team had played them and won the 3 points will be taken off
  12. Hard game with the conditions today, we done ok but we weren't at our best but glad to get the 3 points. All the best to Fife Thistle for the rest of the season
  13. Not meant to rain at all tonight and be good tomorrow so hopefully games not called off to early
  14. Our first 5 games we have 4 away from home,It's just the way it is, I think it's trying to keep the midweek fixtures as local as possible with less travelling involved which may decide on the games but I don't know, I'm just looking forward to getting started again, and hopefully things will sort themselves out during the season. It's my view that every team should be treated the same wether your in the top league or the bottom one.
