A player from Kirkcaldy ym tested positive so Saturdays game was called off.positive player did not play last Saturday in our friendly so there is no fear of it spreading outwith our group.a large group of the boys have already been tested but are all negative.Positive player will be contacted by track and trace and questioned to who was in direct contact etc and what we have to do next..also must state the players tempreture was taking with the tempreture gun the night before his positive covid result and his temp was fine.

Thanks for sharing this, you didnt have to. All best to the lad who tested positive, hopefully back playing football soon with the rest of us. Also fair play to all the boys who went and got tested.

If you are questioning protocol then I suggest actually reading it. Like we all had to do before games resumed. Im assuming you haven’t, which is on you.

We do. You just want to be a wetwipe and no listen. TEST AND PROTECT PROTOCOLS • If someone who has attended your club activity develops symptoms of COVID-19, they should be directed to follow the Scottish Government’s ‘test and protect’ guidelines, which can be read on the nhsinform.scot website • Ensure an accurate register, including contact details, is kept for EVERY session. This register should be held by the appropriate COVID Co-ordinator and session lead coach for the duration of lockdown • Ensure all club members are aware of who their relevant COVID Co-ordinator is, should they October 2017 Nov/Dec 2017 2018 2019 have to pass on their details to a member of the NHS Scotland Test & Protect team. Pilot Course - Licence Diploma & Master Course Riyadh Course Advanced design & roll- • It is not the responsibility of the football club to inform members if someone at the club has tested positive for COVID-19. This will be done by the NHS Scotland Test & Protect team. roll-out out • The football club will be expected to be able to pass on contact details of all attendees should they be asked by a member of the NHS Scotland Test & Protect team. • Data protection guidance should be followed at all times and personal details not held for any longer than is necessary.

Was personally contacted by track and trace today by lady over the phone she asked what our training involved and if anyone was in close contact with the positive player and for how long they were in contact with him etc.she then said she would take the information I gave her to her medical expert and would be back in contact before 5pm with what we have to do and in worst case scenario she would need a list of names and phone numbers of the boys who were at Thursdays session....but now 9.15pm and never had a call back so I currently have a group of boys looking for information of can they work tomorrow, can they go on holiday next week, should they be isolating even if they were nowhere near the positive player throughout the session etc...total Shambles.
