Definitely Bobsy has quit. Spoke to him today and he said it's just not worth the aggro losing your Saturday when there's so many better things to do than put up with that level of conduct. Got to say, if what's been said is true, you can't blame him. Refereeing is a thankless task and you can't be everywhere and see everything all the time. But likewise, you make decisions based on what you see. He doesn't have VAR or any other second opinion to rely. And contrary to what the Leven players were saying to him, he's not biased or got Cupar on a coupon. Think people need to reign in their abuse and comments of officials a little or there would be no games. I appreciate a lot is heat of the moment, but there's no need to accuse an official of cheating.

I don’t know if this is a dig at us Colin but I can assure you that we are certainly not happy with the current situation. Regardless of what tier we were in going to be in, there was no chance of us playing the next few weeks. We as a squad and club have no interest in going through what we went through last week, not worth it. Show me anyone else that would be daft enough to risk another isolation 2 weeks after they have just been through one. We all love playing football but not that much....

Pandemic this and pandemic that. That’s all we ever bloody hear. Murder rate, unemployment, death rate, drug use, bla bla bloody bla. Between listening to all this shite and the hard time a get from ma wife and bairns, a Tuesday, Thursday and more so, match day is the little period of time that helps me to forget all this! As for self isolation, yes it’s a risk, but it’s a manageable one so I’m not having that as an excuse if the risks are managed. Affecting livelihoods?????, boys getting there studs caught on a heavy surface or astro and doing their ankles or cruciate is just as much a risk as catching Covid but do we just pack it in because of the risk........ no! The sooner we are all back playing and enjoying each other’s company, the bloody better!!

Hopefully the labour leader who brought up about travel restrictions getting eased gets voiced. If boys aren’t comfortable playing sit in the hoose for the next year get your shopping done online and never go out for dinner as this virus isn’t going away anywhere.Regarding the different scenarios from track and trace. We were all under the assumptions that with a positive test on the field nobody would have to isolate due to being outside only close contact which isn’t a player jn a game like we seen in pitenweem/Kelty game. This is something that needs cleared up on the re start.

Clubs wanted to play. Boys wanted to play. Playing football is actually one of the safer activities to do in these times compared to many others. Spikes in Fife haven’t come from football but we have to follow the rules and wait for things to change, Im confident it wont be too long. But we sit tight and keep safe for now. And when cases go down again (which they will), we’ll be ready to play again, much to your dismay.

There has been other cases with no isolation for football teams. Think it depends who you get at T&T which is far from ideal.

Agree with you on this tbf to my knowledge greig park has lost their goaly as he cant afford to be getting caught out like the pittenweem situation and having to be of work. Was a penalty despite all the hyperbole after the event from the goalie. I kinda think the final straw might huv been getting called - among many things - a fe55in wee cheat by more than one Leven player direct to his face. He had the humility to finish the game though cos he'd have been well with his rights to walk aff there and then. Mibee its not him who's chucked but I've known him a good while now and the end of that game was clearly a sickener for him.
