    1. Proper fixture control. Always next 4 weeks known. Midweek controlled by distance. Not difficult to do if you have a background in project management. 2. Cup draws done live on social media for all to see Sunday evenings. Committees, Players, fans and dugs can all get a buzz about them as they’re pulled. Drives interaction and involvement strengthening the leagues position in the public eye. 3. Social Media Management. Let the clubs know what’s going on, Highlight a game a week for fans, Interact with clubs and other leagues. A stronger presence drives more to the game and our game in particular. I’m a business development manager who specialises in finding new marketing streams for engineering. I do this daily it’s not difficult and works. It provides better value for money for sponsors, which gets more sponsors on board which strengthens the league and teams furthermore.

    Ref packs in

Definitely Bobsy has quit. Spoke to him today and he said it's just not worth the aggro losing your Saturday when there's so many better things to do than put up with that level of conduct. Got to say, if what's been said is true, you can't blame him. Refereeing is a thankless task and you can't be everywhere and see everything all the time. But likewise, you make decisions based on what you see. He doesn't have VAR or any other second opinion to rely. And contrary to what the Leven players were saying to him, he's not biased or got Cupar on a coupon. Think people need to reign in their abuse and comments of officials a little or there would be no games. I appreciate a lot is heat of the moment, but there's no need to accuse an official of cheating.

A player from Kirkcaldy ym tested positive so Saturdays game was called off.positive player did not play last Saturday in our friendly so there is no fear of it spreading outwith our group.a large group of the boys have already been tested but are all negative.Positive player will be contacted by track and trace and questioned to who was in direct contact etc and what we have to do next..also must state the players tempreture was taking with the tempreture gun the night before his positive covid result and his temp was fine.

Seen a lot of laughter (not just on here) directed at new teams starting out and opening scorelines. No be many folk laughing if these teams pack it in and youre left with free weeks every other Saturday. All the best to every new team starting out, people think its easy and any new team should just instantly compete, go and try start a team yourself then, see how you do. Not directed at anyone, just needs said. All the best to every team this season, keep going and enjoy your Saturdays.

I think the modern day amateur footballer has a lot more distractions these days, and football is just part of it. The level of commitment then suffers because of it. But I wish a few of them would think of the work that goes on behind the scenes to make sure they have a club to play for, whether it be the managers or coaches, to the Committee doing their best to pay bills, get new kits, training gear and sponsorship - even more so difficult these days, again even worse once Covid eases as these sponsors will also have been massively hit. When I played, I would hate to let the club down, mess them around by not turning up for games or training. Nowadays, many don't seem to care (as much).

Sounds like a disgruntled ex player started this thread? Whatever the reasons for whatever has gone on, the following round of ex players to their games to make life awkward or mouthing off and ridicule on Social Media (here, Twitter and Facebook) should really stop as it's you that are looking for bad ones.

Depends on commitment. These days players want to take Saturdays aff to go shopping wi the wife, go on stag do's, wee weekend breaks wi their pals, get tattoos done, spent the house, etc. Work commitments are understandable but anything else is just a kick in the hawmaws to a committed coaching team. Especially when the returning player goes in the huff when he doesn't waltz straight back into the team or organizes a wee break on major dates predetermined in the calendar for Scottish etc. If ye sign on the dotted line you should be 100% committed or dont bother. Same for any team sport actually. Nae wonder management and coaching teams get py55hed aff and eventually lose the enthusiasm.

    Football re starting????

The protocols are a pain but I would stick my left bollock in a vice every Saturday if it meant getting a game of football. For those of a playing age the mental side of things much more prevalent than the virus. The risks are minimal on a football pitch especially when we were not allowed changing rooms. Probably a much lower risk than going to the supermarket. At the end of the day, no one is forced to play. Players, committee and management have an option to be involved or not but you have continually pushed for the season to be ended since it was started. Perhaps time to step aside.

At least with the proposition put forward by the league those that are against playing can sit at home watching dross on tv and let the rest of us get on with playing football rather than trying to have football stopped for all.

When training resumed in July - there was almost 0 cases nationally and you wanted it stopped. The virus remained low through August and you wanted the plans for games to be scrapped. The games were played in September with little issue. Now in October/November sadly due to factors outwith football, the virus has returned and rightly football will step aside. Dont come on here on top of any moral high horse claiming you had it spot on. You didnt. People who wanted football back knew 100% that the chances were the season would be stop/start and we were happy with that. Its stopped now and rightly so, and it will start again when its safe - no doubt when it does you and your crystal ball will be back predicting doomsday. You said football would never come back at all, and it did, and it’ll resume in not too long again. Cheers.

I don’t know if this is a dig at us Colin but I can assure you that we are certainly not happy with the current situation. Regardless of what tier we were in going to be in, there was no chance of us playing the next few weeks. We as a squad and club have no interest in going through what we went through last week, not worth it. Show me anyone else that would be daft enough to risk another isolation 2 weeks after they have just been through one. We all love playing football but not that much....

    KFAFA FIXTURES through Nov 7th

I wouldn’t worry about it mate, there’s more to life than amateur football. That famous cap of your’s still has a few seasons in it yet. We as a club voted against starting back as we all felt that it was too soon to be starting back in the current climate. Don’t get me wrong, nobody has forced us to play and it was all our own choice. In hindsight had we known how easily we could be caught up in all this like we have yesterday by track & trace then there is no way I would have certainly played & I would imagine the same would be with rest of squad. But bottom line is that we had a choice to play or not, we did play and are now being punished by not being allowed out to work for a week over a game of amateur football. Pete Muir got vilified on here for saying this would happen but he’s been bang on. People saying that they need amateur for mental health reasons might want to think about their mental wellbeing after they have been told they can’t get out to earn money and pay mortgages. I noticed there have been a few games called off with similar situation over the last few weeks, I assume they have all had same scenario we have faced & has call from track and trace? At end of day there is no finger pointing, i am just furious that I’ve now to take 7 days off my work over the head of all this.

If we went with no relagation then the leagues could look something like this - 14 team Premier -Leven, GPR, Cupar, Bowhill, Kennoway, Kinross Colts "A", Pittenweem, Muchty, Scotia, YM, Lumphinnans, Kelty Hearts, Kinross, St. Andrews Uni 12 team Championship - Burntisland, St. Monans, Eastvale, Rosyth, Glenrothes, Rosebank, Markinch, Lochgelly, Fife Thistle, Freuchie, Dulloch, Strathmiglo 13 team 1st Division - St. Andrews Colts, Methilhill, Fife Athletic, Kennoway, Falkland, Kinross Colts "B", Kincardine, Bridge of Earn, Glenrothes Strollers, Hearts of Beath, Kirkcaldy Albion, Leslie Hearts, Newburgh Means teams that go up were in the promotions race and prevents the teams that were in the relegation spots having any complaints. Also means if Kettle Utd apply then brings the 1st Div back to an even number.

Again can you explain how they would be restructured? If Null and void then this season didn't happen so to restructure the only option is to use the league standings from the 2018/19 season. You don't seem to be getting it. If Null and void then and only scenario would be the 11-10-18 set up

They should be going by the average points system, making everybody champions like every other league (if that’s what the decide, no one can argue) Dont relegate anyone and promote 3/4 teams from each league We will all know where we stand, and we can look forward to next season if and when that may be

Agreed bud, makes sense, there is always a but tho.. And if the league decides to go on the average points and make the league champions then every team won’t have complaints surely.....Hopefully it’s all sorted out and everyone knows where they stand and we can hopefully look forward to next season. If and when that might be.

When I say “soon” I am hoping maybe by the summer. That would be ideal and give us something really exciting to look forward too. But again, going by the current situation, pretty doubtful eh? I know the death toll is nowhere near accurate and I am really dubious about the accuracy of people actually having Covid or Covid symptoms. At the end of the day, soon will never be soon enough as we are all missing what our spare time used to revolve around. Personally, I cannot wait till it’s back and I miss the football just a much as anyone but in the meantime I am being a realist and not negative.

    Changing rooms

What's wrong with players turning up in shorts, socks and a training shirt and being given their shirt by the management team (if selected) when they arrive? Why do you always look to make things all so complicated and awkward unnecessarily? Of course things will be 'different' from before, but it's not massively difficult or impossible to work round any requirements.

We have 8 games left with 6 teams in and around us and 3 points behind Kirkcaldy who we have to play twice, so not sure how we probably deserve to go down? After signing 4 new boys not long ago and beating Fossoway and Pittenweem in our last few league games, im more than confident we will climb the table and be safe. Just a quick question lads, why cant the leagues finishes as they are with no relegation. Promote the top teams from the Championship and Div 1 as it stands now and then add ur new teams to bottom league? Leagues will then have more teams like everyone wants and majority will be happy.

Whatever the outcome was this season it wasn’t going to suit everybody. We’re in a pandemic and we don’t know when we will be able to play again. Option 1 & 3 not really an option in my opinion. So that leaves option 2 & 4. Whatever gets decided we have to respect the decisions and at least we all know where we stand and can get looking forward to kicking a ball again soonish (hopefully)

There you go again spouting coo dung aboot cups, who mentioned cups. Listen if null en void helps save your club then a understand why you’d vote for it, just diny be giving it big licks about sporting integrity when really your hoping your failed attempts at success get a by this year. If your voting nul en void your teams played pish this season, absolute stick in fact

Like many have said. Null and void only sensible option. As ive seen stated some teams have played each other 3 times and not played some teams once. It would be different if all teams had played the same amount of games etc. But thats not the case. There is oppertunity for teams to escape from relegation positions or push for promotion. I know the constitution states 2 teams must be relegated, but these are extraordinary circumstances.
