    Ian Murphy

As a footballer Ian was a coaches dream. He had a fantastic attitude towards his football at both training and at games. He was always keen to learn and develop and was also very popular in the dressing room. Ian played a big part in the success the Shippy 19's & 21's enjoyed in his time at the club, especially the 21's League & League Cup double in season 05-06. As a person Ian was a diamond and a credit to himself and his family. It was a pleasure to have Ian at our club over the years but more importantly it was my priviledge to get to know Ian. He will be very sadly missed. My thoughts are with Stevie and family. RIP Murph.

    Transfer News

Good to hear wee Coco playin wi the Shippy. Would be playin at a higher level if he had more commitment. Did he play on Saturday??
  4. Who was in goals for the Haws?
  5. Good signing for Civil. Signed Shaun half way thru last season from Steelend and he more than played his part in us winnin the league + league cup double. He missed a good chunk of his spell with us due to injury. Highlight: beating 3 players then scoring with a cross from 25yds in the league cup final at Oakley Great attitude towards trainin. Torn faced feck on the park tho!! All the best at Civil Shaun mate.
