  1. I agree Miller should not play for Scotland again. We have too many better players that should be given the chance to shine - and are on great form.

    Celtic V Well

the structure change they made to it though with more teams, helped them flourish - kinda wish one day, the Scottish league goes that way. Sky might be more interested. Are we one of the smallest league sizes in comparison to Spain, England, Holland, Italy, Germany etc???
  3. If we can get 4 points from those 2 games then we will be right back in the hunt. I dont think any team is going to run away with this league so a few wins here and there and the draws will keep us floating near the top of it. Wales will be tough though if Bale and Belemy are playing but just stick Charlie Adam on Bale, he seems to have his number!!!

    Spartak - Celtic

    very respectful win for Celtic.
  5. Jimmy I would like to see those numbers of our budget and Motherwells - not saying you are wrong in anyway but remember Rangers only have maybe 9-10 senior players and the rest are all youngsters who will not be on hefty wages right now. I think with our minimal squad and other SPL teams larger senior squads that it might be close, of course Celtic aside. I also read somewhere that Rangers attendance was higher than all other cup ties combined and Celtic were playing at home, is this correct? Reduced tickets or not, novelty or not - the fan base is there, its better to bring in 20k more fans and have so many of them buy pies, bovril, programmes etc and add to the finances in every and any way. Dont get me wrong I am sure a lot of Celtic fans are saving money to hit up the big CL games and boost crowds then, but bearing in mind that Celtic should be heavily supported by Glaswegians and thus reducing tickets for Tuesdays game dramatically would have swelled your crowd and increased your own finances somewhat. Its better to make 5 quid than no quid - complacency and bad business. Afterall its a business right and a business has to make a profit, thus stopping the resulting business going into liquidation and so on and so on.

    Celtic V Benfica

come on Dhanny, I think you need to be more honest in your post's and less one sided. If your fight is for 3rd then why on earth would you have taken a point before kick off, you honestly think you will get a point against them away from home? you might but they cant play worse than that in their own stadium. They were there for the beating and no true Celtic fan can be happy that you did not take 3 points against a very poor Benfica side and thats with a very weak Celtic side ( only comparing previous European adventures, and Celtics quality then ) They were there for the taking and that was your 3 points, that would have given you an excellent assault on 3rd place. I am not having a dig, I just dont agree that you should be happy with a point, before kick off or not.
  7. I cant see either banner all that well so I cant make what the offensive remark is or what the fans where trying to make a point of in either banner.
  8. Chris thorburn is a good friend of mine, he is the president of ORSA - he will make you very welcome. Really nice guy also. He lives in Melbourne, we became friends in New Zealand. You will have a lot of fun great city.

Celtic need their home points to have a chance of progressing......that was a team they should have beaten, no bones about it. I think every Celtic fan will be honest and see that as 2 points dropped.
  10. Let me know where in Australia you are moving too and I will give you the relevant contact to get in touch with the supporters clubs. you will be part of ORSA, I think.
  11. its besides the point as to why he is concerning himself about a now extinct club, the same could be said for the SPL's persistance against that same "extinct" club as you put it. He has made some interesting talking points, none more so than - just move on.

    The Rangers Query!

The same QOS whom have an SPL scalp to their name this season, one being against the team lying in 2nd spot currently.
  13. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/powerbrokers-have-known-of-rangers-ebts-for-years-1327563 Not saying I agree with what he has said, but there are a lot of interesting talking points and of course tit for tat. Without this Topic going downhill fast, do you think he is valid in the EBT points of Rangers case v what Celtic had with Juninho? Could HMRC & SPL have done more to help Rangers survive through the Whyte debacle?
  14. until a ruling is made and we are vilified then I am sure you will get the correct response. Its all hearsay right now
  15. Sack Levein now and its the only way any changes can be made - he is too stuck in his ways of how he wants to play. Fletcher will come back to play under a new manager perhaps. A Manager to be so inept and playing half his team out of position says everything you need to know. I know we have gone through manager after manager in the last few years but reality is this - we need to find a manager who can get the most out of select band of players, with youth and experience and not afraid to go for it and mix it up. I agree on the point of if we qualify for 2014, who will play - it should be the youth of now, and if they make then they we will be better and stronger for it. Its all or nothing already in this group, if we dont beat Wales then forget about it.
