  1. Congratulations Lochore, from all at Weavers
  2. Think that's only if the top 2 are level on points mate. League can't be decided on goal difference Cheers mate for clearing that up, like I said I wasn't too sure, best of luck to all teams in with a chance.
  3. I thought it was a play off if teams finished on same points, not sure but think this happened a few years back.
  4. ronaldo2010 will be able to enlighten us no doubt is bad football a crime these days? Found out !!!! Offensive Language
  5. weavers 4 - star 3 probable hold a summit after the days match like lol dunno about a summit but the police are involved Why ????
  6. There was 2 tackles in the game that justified yellow cards and to be fair the keepers challenge was a genuine attempt at getting the ball and the guy was just too quick putting it past him, thats my point of view, I don't think the tackles is the point the onlooker was getting at, I reckon he was just pointing out the fact that it's "afters" that he's disappointed in. That said the Feuers did take the lad off and to be honest I know some of the guys and are all descent and just look to play football like the rest of us. Referee's do get things wrong and can't see everything (well atleast I hope thats the reason for some "incredible" decisions over the past few weeks !!!!) This game is finished so no point on dwelling on previous games.
  7. Weavers were due to play them the night Sorry to hear you's are folding and all the best to the lads that would still like to continue playing with other teams !!!!
  8. Make it fun Wattie and pick past and present team managers (that way I might get a game) it is for charity and would be good for managers to get something back for the hard work they have put in over the years !!!!
  9. Pocket from the Weavers is probably one of the best strikers in the league and has done well throughout the last couple of seasons, reckon he should be on double his current tally with the opportunities he's actually missed, but he can create goals from anywhere on the park !!! Mon the WEAVERS !!!!
  10. Anyone played against DAVIDSONS MAINS lookin for info Weavers played them last year and beat them on penalties, it finished 3-3 normal time, good bunch of lads too, they had a few ex-pro's that never quite made it. We deffo got lucky against them.
  11. Dixon Arms V's Weavers has been called off due to lack of parks, heard on the grapevine there's not enough Park Attendents either so get your CV's in lads.
  12. I have decided to step down as the Weavers AFC Manager and looking to get back playing for a couple of years. (had to play a few games towards the end of the season and got a taste for it again) Tried to continue playing for the Weavers but it's not the same so looking for a new start (don't need the stress of players moaning about new things the new guys are doing etc. Looking to play a few friendly's to keep the auld muscles ticking over !!! If your short of players during the pre-season just give me a shout. I can play anywhere on the park from Goalkeeper to centre forward not saying any good but will always try 100% Can't make training during the week at the moment. Cheers, Gordon
