Baz. I agree with you. Having played most levels of football over 40 years I have to agree that the gap between Saturday and Sunday teams is getting closer. I think the standard was better at Saturday level 20 years ago than nowadays. Sunday league is no longer a pub league with players playing both days. It was always going to get better.

Down to 10 men after 4 minutes v Minto. Was always going to be a struggle from then on. Saw some of the best sitters missed in a long time. All the best in the next round.

Barry. Can't give it up. Got player of the year this season and played every game. So hard to give it up as Mince says. Will be harder for me this season against all of the Premier teams but i'll see how it goes.

Played the Brig at the weekend and lost 5-3. We could have scored a few more as could they. They are excellent going forward but in my opinion a bit weak at the back. Will be a close game Sunday but I think the Auld Hoose are marginally better and will win the game.

Need to speak to Sky and see what they are offering first. Johnny said something about a new pair of hip replacements.

I think Sky would be looking for less than that.
