Parlane - Why do you keep going on about the chairman not putting any of his own money in? There's nothing wrong with that. Surely any team that can't run self sufficient shouldn't be running? Anyone relying on a sugar daddy in today's climate is crazy.

He was never going to be first choice with the ex pro's that were brought in. I'm sure there will be lots of interest in him. He can score goals but needs to up his work rate if he moves to the super league.

Got to back the league on this one. Rules are rules, if they let u off because of your sons illness then every time a club got fined for not attending they would use a similar excuse. At the end of the day how hard is it to get someone to go to a meeting? If you can't get a committee member or a player to go then there's always SOMEBODY that will go, even of you phone another team and ask if they are taking two guys, one of them could have represented you. I went along and watched the Kinghorn game tonight. I don't think i've ever seen a more one sided game in 30 years of amateur football! Kinghorn could've had more than the 11 they did get. Star were a shambles. They really need to get themselves sorted out, firstly by geting rid of the ned that seems to be in charge, Jakey or something? The boy can't string three words together nevermind run a football team! Kinghorn on the other hand look quality! On this performance they'll be in the top 3 at the end of the season im sure!
