You are wrong the league fees were lowered 2 seasons ago and are still the same.
The league itself makes very little money if any from the registration fees.
Once the fees,cups and insurance are paid to the Scottish there is virtually nothing left
The majority of the money held in the league funds come through sponsorship which the committee
work very hard to secure each season from some very good sponsors of Sunday League Amateur Football.
The balance of the funds are made up of the fines that the teams receive throughout the season
This allows us to provide well run Cup Finals and present the successful teams with trophies..
We do not raise the fees without consideration for the clubs.
If you are part of any Association there will be a cost to participate. (this is not free)
We have no control over the council fees and the referees fees are basically the same for all the amateur leagues.
Having run teams for many years myself I know how costly it can be players do not realise the work that committees have to put in to survive.
I hope this clears up some points for you if you need to know anything about the running of the league
before posting topics without the proper information give one of the committee a call.
