Aye congratulations to Walter the coach’es and players for giving up their time and hopefully more success to follow, and hope everyone appreciates the effort these people are putting into it.

For us (Fife Thistle) it would mean a 55% increase in SAFA fees which is unacceptable. It's up to the SAFA to cut their cloth accordingly and not for already struggling clubs to bale them out.

Go figure what colin? I checked the pitch personally last night at 415pm and it was perfectly playable. Unfortunately temps have dropped overnight and it is now frozen in large parts and with temps not over 2 degrees today and it definitely wouldnt thaw out enough to play on it. We were desperate to get the fixture on with not playing last week and now breaking off for Christmas.
We actually thought we were doing you a favour rather than letting you travel for the ref to call it off seeing as Thistle weren’t keen on a switch to 4g, which ended up being fully booked anyway.
Feel free to check it yourself before sending an apology for being a tosser on here again.

Agree Fossaway better team today by far, they played well and executed some good goals, also good turn out back at Woodside Hotel, cheers lads and keep playing like today, no reason you can't have a good season ahead.

Sadly playing the same teams twice close together is nothing new.  We had it last season, where we played Hearts of Beath and Valleyfield twice at the start of the season.  Towards the end of the season we hadn't played Kirkcaldy or Methilhill and ended up playing the latter 4 times in 5 games or so (with Cup competitions), with both sides having awkward midweek trips.
Surely it's not rocket science to plan it and spread it out a little better?

They seem like a well run club and started the season very well!

Thats just madness! I know you can never please everyone but surely common sense says you try and spread out fixtures in order to make things fairer for everyone?
