  1. Well it’s been a month now since Jimmy put Go Daddy on silent, removed the Pyramidicks thread and introduced us to the “2 young lads who are going to get this forum back to what it used to be” What a great job he’s done folks hasn’t he. The new software has made a huge difference. I mean where would we be without all that copy and pasting from the East of Scotland website. Iain Patrick must be so proud of him.
  2. You my friend are entitled to your opinion. I don’t think you are in a position to judge, considering you aren’t to my knowledge privy to the sinister aspects currently at work behind the scenes. If I’m wrong feel free to enlighten us because until such time as justice is served all attempts to sweep this under the carpet is only fanning the flames.
  3. After news broke last night that the club had gone ahead with the signing of a rapist despite objections from the majority of fans, I had intended doing a piece entitled Rape Rovers calling out and shaming the board for putting goals before girls, wins before women and promotion before principle. However due to the backlash today that won’t be necessary, instead I’d like to offer my support and express my admiration to Bill Clark, Val McDermid, Tyler Rattray and everyone else associated with the club including supporters who have taken swift action and either resigned or condemned the decision.
  4. Just like Ian Blackford yesterday in the House of Commons Go Daddy has been thrown out for telling the truth. After an intense back-and-forth with Mr Speaker Jimmy, the Bojo complainers have won the day. The tories inside Purvis Park continue to kick the can down the road while we await the Sue F’n grAy report. I’ll be back with those findings in due course. Thats if the new administrative head of Fife Yard, commissioner Chong doesn’t intervene.
  5. East of Scotland conference league. They had a very good young keeper last time I visited.
  6. He’s only 90mins away from securing his job, unless there’s some truth in the rumour that Celtic are going to ask for a postponement due to the world origami championships being held in Japan. http://www.fifefootball.co.uk/forums/uploads/emoticons/default_laugh.png

Furthermore such person or body shall not act in any manner which is improper or use any one, or a combination of, violent Conduct, serious foul play, threatening, abusive, indecent or insulting words or behaviour. Go Daddy has asked me to highlight the alleged rules breached in the above Facebook post for any avoidance of doubt.
  8. There’s nothing in the disciplinary section of the SFA website to suggest it’s being dealt with, will be interesting to see what’s made of it after the punishment handed out to the St Mirren chairman for a similar offence.
  9. Technical difficulties with their live streaming tonight prevented commentary for the latter stages of the match, but a brace for Kane Hester sealed all 3 points as the unbeaten run continued.
  10. Hasn’t stopped me paying to get into New Central Park either, what’s your excuse?
  11. Word of advice for you mate. With a name like Broony avoid Lochgelly Albert.
  12. Plenty folk fed up hearing about Kelty in this section too. They are an SPFL club now. Dare I suggest the thread is closed or moved to the relevant section of the forum or am I being childish
  13. I’ve learned over the course of the last couple of days that Spam is liked around these parts. All a matter of taste and who has processed it apparently.
  14. Still miss the auld yin. One of the best contributors to this forum.
  15. I’d stay away from the bookies if I were you.
  16. Anyone else hoping Kelty we’re going to be paired with Dundee UTD yesterday?
  17. Just have to agree to disagree then my friend. There are 39 descriptions in that link for the acronym DOB none of which are either sectarian or football related. As for bringing Kris Boyd into it, was you who thought it necessary to post an irrelevant link involving him. (I’ve read the article and can see no mention of DOB in it either). Go Daddy told me KB had written an article in some rag where he referred to the Celtic assistant as BJK (will post if I can find it) and his post like many others in here was a parody of Boydys claim intended to get a reaction from Bertie Wooster. Think you’ll find the post was in the main about the previous days result hence the Good Result For Us Yesterday part which you fail to mention. Despite me clarifying said post you and I both know he caught you hook line and sinker and your aim was basically tit for tat, otherwise you would have mentioned you weren’t condoning Patrick’s behaviour in your first post and not now. Here’s another link for you. Only 6 definitions this time so should be easy enough, even for you to work out which one is derogatory. https://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/BJK
  18. DOB is an acronym, as is BJK Boydy claims his use was a reference to Big John Kennedy Go Daddy claims his was a reference to Dying of Boredom I suspect both know what they were doing but no matter what you or I think neither of us could prove it in a court of law. What is undeniable is the bigoted comment already mentioned many times. The subject of bigotry has been addressed in here for over 2 years. This particular thread been open since March 2020, that you along with a couple of other punters from Diamonds Bar now want to take offence to an acronym tells us more about you than me. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Iain Patrick’s Facebook comic was embarrassing to me and offensive to others. It has as you put it no place in today’s society and would never have come to light if Bertie Wooster hadn’t intervened on this forum on an issue that was no concern of his. Patrick and his club could so easily have resolved the issue but foolishly IMO chose not to. Only they know the reason why and only time will tell if they made the correct decision. Seeing as you enjoy your links I’ll leave you with this. https://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/DOB
  19. I’ve been so busy lately wasn’t even aware of this case but see in today’s papers the similarities. Only difference I can see is that Needham’s were in 2015 before he became chairman. Perhaps the SFA disciplinary panel took that into consideration and that’s why the fine was so lenient. Or maybe it was because he apologised to those offended. Either way good to see they take such vile behaviour seriously and have set a precedent.
  20. Bertie Wooster walked away mate and my understanding is that Go Daddy now intends lodging (no pun intended) a formal complaint with the appropriate authorities. He’s unlikely to be back here now until after his grievance has been dealt with in the proper manner. Like yourself though I was intrigued as to the significance of Bertie’s “date of birth” and duly asked him, and luckily for you and lurkers alike who are overseas and never contribute to the form but like to be kept informed of what’s going on he informed me it was nothing to do with the auld mans birth date and translated it for me. Generally Important Results For Us Yesterday , You Dying Of Boredom?
  21. It was alleged on this forum some time ago that an official of Fife senior football club Lochgelly Albert was guilty of making comments of a bigoted nature. A poster at the time, namely Bertie Wooster refuted such claims and requested evidence. The screenshot pictured below was duly supplied in the relevant thread and speaks for itself. Although embarrassed but not offended by the above personally, there understandably are those who are. However despite numerous requests there has been no reply from Bertie or comment from the club who are fully aware of the matter. It has now reached the stage whereby we have accepted that no amount of ridicule will force Bertie to return and as far as we are concerned that poster no longer exists. Therefor the thread titled Bertie Wooster is now closed and all Lochgelly Albert related matters will posted in the corresponding thread. However we have absolutely no intention of allowing the subject to be swept under the carpet. On the contrary this new thread is intended to show exactly how serious we are. Merely now putting the ball in Lochgelly and Iain Patrick’s court.
