  3. I notice their Facebook page and badge says simply "Rosebank AFC", but they are referred to as Rosebank Rangers elsewhere - last season they were known as Rosebank Athletic (after they merged with Fife Athletic), but they were still called Rosebank Rangers almost everywhere. The Rosebank Athletic Facebook page was updated last season, while the Rosebank AFC page was not. This season, it's the reverse.
  4. Website last in Scotland to update it's Saturday results (yet again) - so here they are! 6. No games in Division 1 - 2 extra games in Division 1 League Cup. In Championship, Bridge of Earn v Fife Thistle (Burntisland United and Kinross Colts free) RESULTS Premier Auchtermuchty Bellvue 2-7 Cupar Hearts Balgonie Scotia 0-1 Greig Park Rangers Kelty 0-4 Pittenweem Rovers Strathmiglo United 2-0 Lochgelly United Championship Bridge of Earn 2-0 Fife Thistle Glenrothes N/P The Swifts (Glenrothes unable to field team, The Swifts awarded match) Kincardine 2-4 St. Andrews Kinross 1-0 Rosebank Athletic Markinch 1-2 Benarty Astros League Cup Division 1, Group E East Vale 3-4 Leven Leslie Hearts 3-0 Kettle United Division 1, Group F Kennoway Star Hearts 1-2 Dunfermline City St. Monans Swallows 0-5 Methilhill Strollers
  7. Confirmed by Leven - final score was Greig Park Rangers 5-2 Leven - so KOFAFA has got it wrong again...
  8. Just a note - Scottish Amateur FA gives Greig Park Rangers v Leven score as 5-2 (rather than 4-1) - not sure which is correct.
  9. Based on over 18000 results that I've painstakingly collected, I've finally managed to get a working ranking for all Saturday amateur clubs in Scotland. Cupar and Leven in the Top 10, and 9 Fife clubs in the Top 100. Clicking on club names gives results back to the start of the 21-22 season, along with ranking points exchanged for each match. https://scotscores.theroonba.com/clubrank/clubrankam.html https://scotscores.theroonba.com/clubrank/clubrankamfife.html Hoping to get a Sunday Amateur equivalent to this up and running in a couple of weeks also.
  10. Kettins v Bridge of Earn was 0-3, not 2-3. A couple of penalty scores added to the full-time scores there (unconventional). St. Andrews 1-1 Strathmiglo (6-5 pens) Methilhill 1-1 Leven (3-5 pens)
  11. Fife Thistle v Benarty Astros was 1-1 (7-8 on pens) Scottish Amateur FA has Balgonie beating Kincardine 4-1 (not 2-0, as per KOFAFA). Fixture was reversed (Kincardine at home). Lang Toon is actually Lang Toun.
  12. Seems Kinross Colts B, Glenrothes Strollers are not taking part this year - and Dunfermline City are not listed in the tables, so it seems that their application for membership must have been rejected. League system is 13-12-11
  13. "Eastvale AFC have rejoined the League in the bottom Division after taking a season out. One other club have recently applied to join the Kingdom of Fife AFA but must be ratified at the general meeting." This suggests there will be another meeting to decide whether Dunfermline City will be accepted (possibly fixtures will be released when this is known). No idea when this other general meeting will be. By the way, is it Eastvale (as commonly written, even by the club themselves), or East Vale (as written on the club crest, and also as registered with the SAFA)?
  14. PREMIER Cupar Hearts Leven United Balgonie Scotia Greig Park Rangers Kennoway Kirkcaldy YMCA Bowhill Rovers Auchtermuchty Bellvue Pittenweem Rovers Lumphinnans United Kelty Lochgelly United Strathmiglo United University of Saint Andrews (not taking part) CHAMPIONSHIP Benarty Astros Bridge of Earn Burntisland United Fife Thistle Glenrothes Kincardine Kinross Colts A Kinross Markinch Rosebank Athletic (seems to be a merger of Fife Athletic and Rosebank Rangers) Saint Andrews (new name for Saint Andrews Colts) The Swifts DIVISION 1 Hearts of Beath Saint Monans Swallows East Vale (resigned from Championship mid-season 21-22) Kettle United Newburgh Juveniles Methilhill Strollers & East Fife Leslie Hearts United Colleges Leven Kinross Colts B Lang Toun (new name for Kirkcaldy Blues) Kennoway Star Hearts Amateurs Dunfermline City Glenrothes Strollers ?
  15. AGM was on 23rd June, but nobody at the KoFAFA has deemed it important enough to mention the league structure or anything about new teams on their social media channels. Apparently, 4 divisions instead of 3. Eastvale (or is it East Vale - their club badge seems to suggest it is, but they seem to refer to themselves as Eastvale!) - they are not a new team, they played in last season's championship, before withdrawing mid-season. Lang Toun also isn't a new team - it seems to be the new name for Kirkcaldy Blues.
  16. Seems Newburgh and Kennoway Star weren't content with just playing a league match, and got in some penalty practice.
  17. Beer bottle thrown at Rosebank player.
  18. Classified scores: (Fife Athletic v Rosebank Rangers abandoned - glass bottle thrown at a Rosebank player).
  19. In an ideal world, all clubs would have similarly linked websites - as it means only a couple of clubs have results on the website (Kinross Colts, Bridge of Earn), and then there is a wait of a couple of hours before any other results gets populated (presumably from ref reports - and as we have seen, some referees haven't kept score correctly, for whatever reason). The matches concerned had an unusually high number of goals admittedly, but that shouldn't really be an excuse for a referee, who should have a notepad and pencil/pen.
  20. Back to 5-1 now. I'm keeping results as they are reported by the teams from last week (rather than what the official score says). Referees clearly made mistakes in 2 matches last week. Don't see the point in officialising incorrect information.
  21. At ten to five - here's Final Score, Fife style.
  22. Kirkcaldy Blues 5-6 Glenrothes Strollers
