  1. This format of competition was doomed for failure from the start and won't have any place in the new set up. Lessons have been learned by all involved hopefully.
  2. All the best to Bowhill for today from all at Aberdour.
  3. Pete you need to be more realistic. Something you tried to do and failed has now been achieved and I am sure it was a lot easier with out you round the table. You talk some sense at times but you always let yourself down going on about no integrity. Show a little please. Exciting times ahead for everyone involved in Fife football. Even you if you let it.
  4. Actions from Monday have been taken progress being made.
  5. The purpose of tonight's meeting is to see if the clubs are for a merger, restructure whatever you want to call it. It has taken years for someone to try and move this along and at the last minute a spanner is being thrown in to try and upset the apple cart. The idea of a new set up is just one idea nobody is committed to anything. The only way the clubs can bring this about is to have open discussions. Then we can approach both league committee's. Why has it taken until today for someone to approach SAFA allegedly. I am telling you all now that this will be happening one way or another change is coming for the better of Fife football.
  6. Just thought it might be worth emphasising that the clubs are all discussing it here on the forum - so what's the difference to doing so at an informal meeting - that both association committees are aware of.
  7. There is no new organisation this is simply a meeting of clubs.
  8. This meeting is for clubs only if you are a club official and on the league committee you are attending to represent your club not your association. After Monday night we can involve both associations if that is deemed the next step forward. Everyone needs to attend with an open mind.
  9. The reason it has taken until now is fairly simple I have only been attending league meetings this season and therefore been in a position to have my point of view heard. I don't care what has gone on in the past I was not involved at that time. So remove all the negativity and forget the past.
  10. All teams were invited using sec contact details in the FAFA hand book. Nobody missed out intentionally.
  11. All registered club sec's as per the FAFA hand book were emailed all clubs are invited. I have been informed there was a negative message from the FAFA league meeting last night where is the harm in getting together to discuss? Nobody from the Kingdom committee is involved in this meeting.
  12. Could all teams that re going to attend the meeting of all amateur clubs this coming Monday 13thFeb 19.15pm at Warout Stadium, Glenrothes pleae confirm their attendance as requested in the email sent to all club secretaries late Monday evening. Again I state this is not amalgamation this is for reconstruction of Fife Amateur football. Currently All 11 Kingdom teams have confirmed. Am soccer confirmed St.Andrews Uni- to be kept informed unable to attend This is for the clubs to have their chance to voice their opinion.
  13. Typical negative attitude from Kingdom committee. With a bit of luck we can get rid of that too!
  14. Simple solution take top 7 teams from each league at the end of this season to form a premier league. Then form a championship with the rest of the kingdom teams and the rest from FAFA premier and top teams from next league down. At the end of the season have automatic promotion for top 2 teams then playoffs for 3rd bottom of new premier and 3rd,4th and 5th in championship, same applies to league 1. We scrap a couple of cups to allow for playoffs which would keep far more teams involved towards the end of the season. This would be easier being a new set with a newly created league committee voted in by all teams. We can all wish but I think the coming weeks will reveal all.
  15. So are these games null and void that were played including yellow and red cards from these games doubt it. What about suspensions served correctly in these game does that now mean the players have still to serve a further suspension. Who is going to pay for the extra pitch fees, referees, strips to be washed? Must all be paid for by the League. One word sums this whole situation up CORRUPT. I can see quite a few teams leaving the Kingdom League as a result of this.
