Not many agree with Tony but last nights game was pretty bad viewing and a battle more than a game of football. Ref had some howlers. Boy kicked out right infront of him and only booked him (foul alone that he had already blown for was worthy of the yellow). Also missed blatant push on big Boggs in the box for a pen and gave 3/4 decisions in DUFC favour just due to the shouts from players/sidelines.

Sky 9 markinch 1. Sky went 2 up inside 20 mins with headed goals from set pieces. Got a 3rd from rebound of missed pen after markinch went down to 10 men after defender saved dougies shot into empty net. Good wing play led to Ross putting through his own net for 3-1 with last kick if the half. Markinch the better team for 1st 10mins of 2nd half but then self destructed going down to 9 men for defender tipping shot round the post. Sky cruised getting goal after goal. Sky 4 vs 2 kingdom utd. Sky 1 up in 20 seconds and lost a goal from corner with slack marking, went 2-1 up with neat finish from long ball. Sky handed another out another equaliser this time an own goal. 2nd half game got scrappy and bit of a battle. Kingdom boy walked for 2 yellows and from free kick we went 3-2 up before sealing it with a goal on the counter in last 2 mins. Lucky to finish the game with bad light as kick off delayed due to referee booking mix up and only played as ref was told not to turn up to his full time job today or we were stripped and ready with no ref turning up.

I know whether the ref is named or not in a thread that if someone says he had a mare etc I will look at fixtures thread to see who appointed ref was. My 1st year in Ammies so not familiar with many of the east guys but west guys all covered welfare etc or played against such as Gav Wilson. Think the forum is for discussion and as long as its not personal or abusive I don't see anything wrong with it, same as opinions on players/teams you play against.

Like having squads of player tho wattie not everyone is going to get a game week in week out and not everyone can make every game due to work/injury etc. In the same vain when your best 11 is available its them that will get a game so when we face loosing some guys then its time to review and certain refs should only be on the books as a reserve/back up rather than assigned a game in 1st instance.

Well he is still reffing at under 19s level i believe. As said spoke to him personally and was a bit disillusioned with the lack of consistancy. Agree overall the standard is better and only going to be that way if guys like Higgy and Gav wilson who have played/understand the game are the level of ref we get. And agree with Keith that on here is maybe not best place to discuss but think thats 4 times now this season we have had Tam and games turn into a farce.

I spoke to big Higgy who quit the league as wasn't getting regular game scheduled yet tam gets one every week. Some shockers today including a drop ball as couldn't decide what way to give a throw in...then the drop ball didn't even drop when it was played lol.

Facilities are good up there Scotty, both grass and astro.
