kirkybush Posted August 25, 2010 Report Share Posted August 25, 2010 railway tav 4-0 burns tav ST CLAIR TAVERN 8 ACORN 1 Was an even game at 1-1 then our player clashed with goalkeeper after about 20mins played. The ref played on while our goalkeeper lay unconcious until finaly 1 of our players atempted to grab the ball to stop play (while ball was near our goal line). Ref sent him off and gave a pen while our goalkeeper still out cold......... Game finaly stopped........ Ambulance came for him and play resumed with 10 men and a member of the comittee/player in goals which led to the above scoreline. Spoke to keeper after and hes ok which is the main thing. Would love to comment further on ref about this and how he handled the whole game in general but al get in bother so al leave it at that...... All the best to st clair tavern for rest of season. Nakamura ate my dog Posted August 25, 2010 Report Share Posted August 25, 2010 lochore 3 v 2 jokers we (lochore) struggled to get imto the game first 15 minutes. jokers passed the ball about really well. they are a decent team with a few good players when they keep the disipline. jokers went a goal up but we battled on n managed to get the result in the end. if we keep grinding out results like that this season we will be there or there about. all the best to the jokers lads for the rest of the season. All the best to kelty tho, they are a good side. It would've been nice if the council cut the grass once in a while, people can get injured playing on a surface like that! davelfc Posted August 25, 2010 Report Share Posted August 25, 2010 (edited) AFC Star 0 v Kinghorn Hearts 11 Expected more of a battle tonight to be honest, heard Star were much improved on last seasons Albion, but on this showing they are weaker IMO. Battled for 25 mins, without really forcing our keeper into any kind of action. We got a few before half time and it became one way traffic from then on. In all honesty, this could very easily have been a lot more with a few missed chances, crossbar and saves from the keeper. Jamo Lessells did well tonight. Scorers for Kinghorn Hearts tonight Iain Thomson x7, Alan Binnie x2, Gogs Binnie and David Wilson. All the best to JK and the boys for the remainder of the season. Thought it was a very competitive game, night & day from cowdenbeaths performance on sunday, fought for every ball and played as a team, imo last 15 thought cowden couldve nicked the 3 points.
