News
MARTYN CORRIGAN believes Stirling can provide the financial model for other SFL clubs to follow. The Binos defender, who spent four games on loan at Dundee in 2007, was helpless as his new employers lost to the Dens men. But Corrigan said: "Football's in a bad way right through the leagues. Stirling are showing the way forward by watching their cash and not paying silly money to players. "That's the only way football is going to be able to progress in Scotland. "We know we are good enough to stay in this league, we just have to prove it. Credit to the boys who have taken over Stirling, they have done a good job, it's now up to the players to keep us in the league. "We have a good standard of players - the only obvious difference being part-time you have to train at night. "It has proved difficult at this time of year and in this weather to get training facilities and that's where the full-time teams have another advantage."
