Most goals came from poor defending and the ref was pretty dodgy with both teams again. Well done to jokers for the win though. We are a bir gutted but feck all we can do now! correct mate a game that either team couldve won we were 1-0 2-1 and 3-2 down but managed to go in at half time 3-3. to be fair at that point it was a good game to watch, we played some no bad stuff half time as your defence was sleeping, and we got caught with a long ball for first cause you seen we played a high line, great finish from neishy though. 2 great free kicks in the game one from each side, and with the wet surface neither keeper had a chance. agree bout the ref though, he is a true gent off the park think he has alot to do with the league and first half he reffed the game well, but after showing 1 yellow card think he flashed more cards 2nite than he will at christmas, went from having a great game to making it about him which spoiled it. 3 reds and bout 10yellows and can honestly say it wasnt a dirty game from either side. you guys caught few ov our guys late as we did your guys, but with the wet conditions everyone was going for the ball there was no malice in any tackle. wish you guys the best, decent set ov lads and was good game 2nite, just wish it finished 11 v 11 and wasnt spoiled 2nd half. aw the best for rest ov your games fae the lads at jokers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

still game Posted May 12, 2011 Report Share Posted May 12, 2011 Kinghorn Hearts 1 - 1 Lochore Castle was a typical match for two of the teams going for league very close and scrappy, both teams started even putting pressure on each other but we both held off each other well, continued this way for rest of half with some nasty tackles flying in, HT 0-0, second half was more of same with kinghorn taking lead from a cross into box that jock devine headed into our own net, kinghorn pressed after this but we held them off and kept fighting away and got our reward in the end with a goal form last kick off ball when darren mackie squared it across box to cele who fired in!! kinghorn boys can say ball was out i dno as i didny have a clear view but if it was on other foot im sure you lads would have taken it for a point as well , we were down to 10 men for about 25/30 mins then 9 for last five but must say well done to us for keeping on fighting until the end! ref was poor for both teams tonight, although hes usually quite good! and i agree with spooky about ur boys being cocky ur keeper saying after game to us on way back, "disny matter about tonight boys league title already has our name written on it", still 3/4 teams in with a shout for league so bit disrespectful to other teams going for league but hopefully ul be made to eat your own words, look forward to game at crosshill..... would like to put a wee mention into kinghorn boys at start though for taking part in minutes silence for john devine snr was much appreciated lads thank you Fair summary of the game. However spookys one to talk for being cocky declaring that yous will take 6 of us back at lochore. People in glass houses bud! And ur right if shoe was on the other foot we wouldn't b complaining obviously, so no1 blaming you lot for the goal!
