The majority did win and that's fair enough, but when it's such a margin of 55% to 45% then it was never going to be over with just like that the day after, regardless of which way it went. A lot of people in scotland want change, and a lot will do whatever it takes to get it.

Not really hard to believe that a person born in Scotland can support Ireland or England if that's their chalice Larry, it's just like someone in Ylum or Cowdenbeath supporting a team from glasgow surely???

Yes you are right, the % doesn't matter in terms of the victory for no voters, but all it does mean is that 45% of country wanted change and isn't happy, so of course they will continue to seek these changes, hardly rocket science.

Gary do you honestly believe 45% of people who voted are just going to accept this result and move on with their lives? A large % of people voted at the very last minute based on the promise of new powers. If those powers don't happen peoples heads will be turned. The SNP have already stated that their mandate will always support independence so this will never go away given the popularity of the political party at the moment. The SNP will be in charge of Scotland for a very long time.

To be honest a couldn't care if the 45 are going to accept it it's done it's not happening in our lifetimes .time to realise that they are in the MINORITY and it's not what the MAJORITY of scotland want. They can have the 1.6 million folk who voted yes in the city centre of glasgow every Saturday it's still the MINORITY
