Â Was tough going at the start as we were put under a lot of pressure for the first 10mins. Once we got the first helped settle our nerves then second gave us something to build on and so on. Proud of the guys the day is great to see the younger players come on through the years and now are starting to get it right a give mature performances on the pitch. However today will be a waste if we don't go on and match this performance and get the results for the last 5 league games! Hard lines to the strollers and all the best. bobthecoalman Posted March 1, 2015 Report Share Posted March 1, 2015 Wtf has happend to methilhill strollers, finishing top half of the prem less than 5 years ago now sitting bottom of 1st division , watched them against fruchie a few weeks ago and they drew 4 each now they are getting beat by bayside! AM Soccer 3-0 up so really should have seen the game out. Valleyfield came back well to 3-3 and probably think they should have went on to win in the 90. Both teams had a go all the way though. Game deserved extra time. Good luck to Valleyfield for the season. Â We had three clear chances in the last 10 mins and gifted a three goal lead. We're the team that should have won it. valleystriker Posted March 2, 2015 Report Share Posted March 2, 2015 We started very slowly and never kicked a ball til it was 3-0 to AM soccer after about 20 mins. Have to give credit to AM soccer for that but we really gifted them a 3 goal lead. Great character to turn it around and get back to 3-3 at half time without playing that well to be honest. Never nice to lose on penalties but that's the lottery I suppose and have no doubt we will be playing AM soccer in the prem next season. Can only think of one clear chance for u guys toward the end of the game where the big striker should have squared it but didn't and was saved by our keeper. Valley through to the quarters is all that will really be remembered from a decent game. All the best to AM soccer for rest of the season.
