ya cant Posted October 7, 2016 Report Share Posted October 7, 2016 A heard that the cup draws wont be getting redrawn after certain clubs said at the meeting to keep them as they are ... the same clubs wanted the league cup redrawn but not the rest ...... surely if you redraw one cup cause a team folds you have to redraw the rest ......... sporting integrity at its best ......... certain teams in this league are being looked after and lookin from the ootside its a total farce ......... heard yesterday theres a club played a player in games whos been suspended and its getting played doon as if it didnt happen...... if the league has any integrity surely this club should be punished for cheating ? victor meldrew Posted October 7, 2016 Report Share Posted October 7, 2016 Kingdom league is fairly getting talked about for all the wrong reasons just now, shame too as there's some strong teams in it which should make it the most interesting at the top with so many teams capable. Set a precedence in 1st place re-drawing any cup, should never happen unless its forced to due to error. Can't possibly turn s blind eye to playing a suspended player either!!! ya cant Posted October 7, 2016 Author Report Share Posted October 7, 2016 As you say willie the precedent was set with cup draws but certain clubs are running this league now......league cup should never have been redrawn but the certain clubs wanted a redraw ... was it cause they had a tough game? But now they certain clubs dont want a redraw cause they have an easy draw ..... the integrity of the league should just tell these certain clubs that the precedent has been set and you cant just redraw cups when you have a tough draw....... as for the suspended player .... every secretary knows whos suspended ...... it looks like if you stick by the rules you are worst off and that shouldnt be ........ Couldn't believe when I heard you'd had redrawn a. Up just cos a team folded, that's just unfortunate and lucky for whoever they would be playing. Never heard it happening before. Landel Lass Posted October 7, 2016 Report Share Posted October 7, 2016 For information regarding your first comment Mr Muir, I would state that the initial proposal to redraw the MH Engineering League Cup was made by the our Fixture Secretary (to make it a fairer competition) at our League meeting on 29/08/16 and put to the Executive Committee and all the club representatives that were present; agreement from all delegates resulted in the draw being retaken. The proposal was made at the League meeting this Monday 03/10/16 by the Fixture Secretary not to redraw the four KC AFA cups (as there was less advantage given to clubs affected) and again there was agreement from all the delegates present to go forward as suggested. The Executive Committee are currently investigating issues that have arisen regarding player suspensions and the committee will make its decisions in due course. If you have any issues as a club member, then you should put them directly to the Executive via your own club secretary. I would remind you, gentlemen, that if you are members of the Scottish Amateur Football Association, you are subject to their current Social Media Policy, which states that:- "You must not ..... defame the Club/League/Association or its members, officials etc ..." "The Association will not tolerate criticism posted in messages in the public domain or on blogs about the Association." "You must not bring the League into disrepute through the content of your website entries or your blogs." In the League Cup two teams would have been given byes straight into the semi-final. With the other cups, two additional teams were getting byes only into the second round. So its not the same thing. There has to be set rules, i.e. Cups only redrawn due to error in drawing them originally and not just when the people at the meetings decide!!!
