ya cant Posted February 28, 2017 Report Share Posted February 28, 2017 Ok ... am not affliated to a team and you are but yer a yes man so whats the point of you even attending as you will just go with the league secretarys proposal .....thats like following a cult were the sheep follow the leader ........ heres a proposal League 1 .. 14 League2 .... 14 League 3 .....16 3 local cups plus 1 divisional cup Local cups start with prelimary round ... then 1st round ... then 14 teams from top league join the 2nd round draw ..... maybe stop 15-0 hammerings cause lets be honest no one wants they scores ...... Gives more games to some teams in the bottom league also eases the games for top league teams .... Bringing top league teams in to local cups in 2nd round is a great idea for all concerned IMO Shhhusshhh min ..... a know a like winding boys up but theres lots of good ideas oot there ... just pisses me off when one man is dictating the show and boys are either feared or just cant be bothered with what happens as long as they are playin football ...... am sure they can look at alot of the proposals and tweek bits here and there to get it right for the game .... am coming over as someone standing against his proposal but so what ... thats whats needed .... twoandahalf Posted February 28, 2017 Report Share Posted February 28, 2017 Looking in from the outside with a decent number of clubs there is plenty options.We play in Stirling and district which has similar amount (48) after a few teams folded a few weeks into the season it screwed it up a bit but with the 48 teams we use a similar set up of leagues to a few other associations. Premier (12) Division 1A (12) Division 1B (12) Division 2 (rest of clubs) We have a league cup for each division two groups of 6 (5 games ) then top 2 play final. 3 local cups all teams in Scottish and East of Scotland Works out a decent amount of games per team and league cup gets done first which prevents teams being done with league games for March. Bombscare Posted March 1, 2017 Report Share Posted March 1, 2017 It was mentioned in the meeting that Leven had played that amount.....oh sorry you weren't there were you.....your sources slipped up there!.......and you're right some clubs do participate but some clubs want as many cups as possible Leven had an outstanding season last season al agree ....... to win the cups they won 12 games ... 22 league games ... 4 fife cup ties ... 10 scottish ties thats 48 games approx ... no where near 60-70 games thats the point am making ... so jog on with another lie ... trying to justify yer secretarys proposal ... would love to see your proposal and look at the difference between yours and his ..... al guess it will be exact the same ....... 14 team top league 14 team league 2 16 team league 3 Cup draws total 44 teams ..... dont bring in the top league in draw till the 2nd round of local cups ... 3 local cups in total and a divisonal cup gives every team 4 local cups to play for (surely thats enough cups) plus your fife and scottish Its not hard to work out ffs .......
