smiler
mmm season not even started and a few gripes already ! Would think this EARLY in the season that teams would not be playing each other twice in the same fortnight in the league. if correct. ceejay
Bombscare
Cupar and muchty too. Twice in 5 games.
ya cant
Least youve got a game ? We dont have a game on 2nd sept ?
LeslieHearts72
It's an impossible job to keep everybody happy, im sure if anybody wants to help the match secretary do it then he would probably welcome the help, or if anybody else thinks they can do a better job ask to take over. People always ready to criticise instead of being positive and trying to make it work. jaz and ceejay 1
ya cant
Am not criticising neeb ... i know its a hard job ... cant keep everyone happy ..... just pish no having a game on 2nd sept as we also have a free week on 23rd sept ........ am sure there is formulas out there with 14 team leagues that will help you out ...... so every team plays each other before playing each other twice ? A still think teams in top league shouldnt enter the cups till the 2nd round but what do i know eh ceejay
LeslieHearts72
Our first 5 games we have 4 away from home,It's just the way it is, I think it's trying to keep the midweek fixtures as local as possible with less travelling involved which may decide on the games but I don't know, I'm just looking forward to getting started again, and hopefully things will sort themselves out during the season. It's my view that every team should be treated the same wether your in the top league or the bottom one.

I know you can never please everyone but surely common sense says you try and spread out fixtures in order to make things fairer for everyone? ceejay, smiler and Foss
Kinch2
Looks like a few teams have the same we have Falkland home on the Tuesday then along to them on the next Saturday not an easy job but as has been said surely you play everyone home and away then reverse it Berti and ceejay 1
Foss
Sadly playing the same teams twice close together is nothing new. We had it last season, where we played Hearts of Beath and Valleyfield twice at the start of the season. Towards the end of the season we hadn't played Kirkcaldy or Methilhill and ended up playing the latter 4 times in 5 games or so (with Cup competitions), with both sides having awkward midweek trips. Surely it's not rocket science to plan it and spread it out a little better? Berti and jaz

ya cant
why play local cup ties on 2 nd sept ... surely you play as much league games as possible befor the scottish and fife kicks in ..... still say premier teams shouldnt be in the draw for local cup ties till the 2 nd round ..... you know it makes sense ...... come the end of may there will have to be an extension for season to end jaz
