Heppy and thomson, 2 junior players, the rest bang average.. remember they signed a few from GPR, they finished 7th in the premier league last season says it all.. watched them in a pre season game and there keeper and back 4 will struggle this season against better players.

7th in the premier says it all? Your opinion and your entitled to it mate but I think you’re  at it. They’ve made good progress over the last couple of seasons while Kennoway have gone backwards and Glenrothes have stood still. Time will tell but at the moment for me they have by far the best squad.

Why would i be at it? Thats just my opinion. There defence and keeper will get punished in the super league! Thats why they prob finished 7th in premier league, cause they are average.  Am no disagreeing with u on the other part, Kennoway have lost players not replaced them cause the boards no prepared too spend cash, glens have been on a downward spiral for 10 years.

If you’re no at it then you must still be suffering from that head knock you received in training from Martin Prest all them years ago

Ok Ryan Linton was signed from Denbeath and I get that you’re no a fan but Adam only had one season at GPR. Or maybe you’re referring to Suki/Shanksy? Anyhow the rest of the squad have in the main all been part of the junior scene for the majority of their careers some having spent time at senior clubs and either the Haws/ Dundonald or both. 7th place in the premier last season might be the sign of an average team in your opinion but they’re no littered with average amateurs.

Your rolling back the years noo  adam is a good player, as is suki but they will struggle in the super league when they struggled in the kingdom league. Not just them remember, but they only have a few quality players and can only see them struggling badly this season

A first visit to Gardiner Park for me, tidy wee ground but the pitch still struggling to recover from drainage works by the looks of things, the dry summer meaning it was a bit bare in places.

Disappointing result for Newburgh, by far the better team to go in 2-1 up at the half,  went 3-1 up but missed a few chances and couldn't hold on to the lead. Few decent shouts for a couple of penalties but not given by the ref, who had a decent game over the piece.

Punters are getting value for money though. Both teams scoring and conceding lots of goals so far.

An excellent 3-0 win for Newburgh yesterday in an entertaining game. Both teams gave it their all in an open attacking game.

Rosyth will feel hard done to have lost by 3 goals as the gap between the teams wasn't that wide and they were on the rough end of a couple of refereeing decisions.

It does prove that these things balance out over a season as it was the same man in the middle who did YM game a couple of weeks ago.

Another trip over the Forth today for the game at Pumpherston.

Firstly what an absolutely cracking game of football, both teams giving their all in an open attacking game.

Newburgh started the slower, but after conceding the first really took the game to Pumpherston, grabbing a deserved equaliser and unlucky not to be in front at the half.

2nd half was more of the same, both goalies pulling off good saves for their teams.

Pumpherston went ahead then Newburgh had a poor penalty saved that could have tied things up.

Chasing the game Newburgh conceded a late penalty which was converted to give an unfair look to the scoreboard.

Newburgh should take a huge amount of positives from the game as they deserved a reward for their efforts.

An excellent 3-1 win for Newburgh yesterday over a good Livingston side.

A tight and even first half saw a few chances for both teams with Newburgh getting the go ahead goal.

Livingston came out at the start of the 2nd and had Burgh on the back foot and got a well deserved equaliser with a great move and finish from the edge of the box.

Newburgh fought back and shortly after a quick break up the park saw the ball slotted home for the go ahead goal.

Again Livi pushed to get back on terms, and when Burgh got a corner Livi chose to leave 4 men high up the park, it was to cost them as Burgh took advantage of the space in the box to grab the decisive 3rd goal.

By far the best overall performance of the season by Newburgh, hopefully they'll be able to take it on the road and get a result in Armadale next week.

A word for the man in the middle as well, just a young guy but handled the game very well.
