Was personally contacted by track and trace today by lady over the phone she asked what our training involved and if anyone was in close contact with the positive player and for how long they were in contact with him etc.she then said she would take the information I gave her to her medical expert and would be back in contact before 5pm with what we have to do and in worst case scenario she would need a list of names and phone numbers of the boys who were at Thursdays session....but now 9.15pm and never had a call back so I currently have a group of boys looking for information of can they work tomorrow, can they go on holiday next week, should they be isolating even if they were nowhere near the positive player throughout the session etc...total Shambles.

Am sure a few boys on here will tell you whats going on neeb

they know it all

Sounds like ya cant is doing everything in his power to get the league cancelled before it starts. Every single thread it’s something negative, wonder why that is?

So asking questions on the protocols of track and trace is me wanting to cancel the league

just read reiders post as he has a player tested positive and the guy is worried about the rest of his squad and what they do next as no one has been in touch and its now 3 days since the positive test

as the guy said its a shambles ... no point to track and trace if it isnt getting used in a positive situation is there?

I think it’s best for your health to go back into shielding mate.

The worry you must face day to day can’t be healthy, lock the door and shut the windows. let the Asda boy leave the messages at the door and only pick them up with gloves then wipe everything down before taking the gloves off.

Good luck.

A think youll find thats whats going to happen as too many people dont adhere to the rules

Seems to me as if YM have done exactly what is required as per the rules. Track and trace job now to follow up and provide clear instructions. If they are not doing that then that is a concern, but it is not YM’s fault, its not footballs fault either, we are all following procedure.

It honestly saddens me this ‘ya cant’ muppet is so obviously desperate to get football shut down again, I’ve no idea why mind you. We are all working very hard to keep things going and countless people have played a part in that.

First it was returning to training - he gret like a spoiled child not getting his way. We got through it.

Then it was return to games - He insisted that was pie in the sky, but yet, we managed.

Now its track and trace.

You are becoming very, very, very boring & unhelpful. Pipe it.

If concerned for your own wellbeing, don’t go to the games or training. It’s that simple.

The virus could be about for years and by your logic we shouldn’t be leaving the house until a vaccine is found (or maybe just not playing football).
by all means you do that, but don’t try piss on people’s parades when a lot of boys see football as the highlight of their week and gives a break from the dismal reality we’re now in.
everyone is doing their best and protocol has been followed so not much else we can do.

I really dont think anyone is telling YM just to get on with it, its more us just telling you to stop making a tough situation even more unbearable.

Nobody ever suggested getting back playing was gonna be easy. But people are trying very hard, and could do without your persistent negativity.

Virus will be about for years. Only thing that turns it into a virus that can be lived with as normally as possible is a vaccine - probably not likely until *enter any 2021 month here* at the earliest.

Junior/Ammy football cant wait that long. Game will be done n dusted. Even professional set ups across country struggled massively, ‘ya cant’ seems to think ammy clubs can just...wait another 6 months.
