Knees up at the back
I'm pretty sure every player in the league wants to play football. No shower isn't ideal but i'll be happy washing the baws in the house as long as we get a game. Incredible folk are still keen on getting this stopped Berti, dugman, boy"z" and 1 other
eastfifearabman
Every player wants to play, but if a team has a player tests positive and whole teams have to isolate and miss a fortnights wages due to football, how many times in a season do our families and wives suffer before divorce or leagues up the spout. It's going to happen to us all. Leagues will be finsihed in pro clubs on fifa at this rate.

Never heard of a whole team having to self isolate yet for one positive test: this is the reason of the guidelines to prevent a mass spread. We had a positive test and not two players had to isolate and it was the two who had been in the same car as the positive test. piper
I genuinely think that the risk to the players within the football environment seems minimal yet to be a scenario where teams have had multiple positive tests within our environment. The common theme seems to be people who have car shared needing to isolate! up to clubs to keep enforcing the standards as best we can, encouraging players not to car share to and from training, encouraging players to miss training if they have any doubt at all until they have clarity! Encourage players to sanitise their hands and keep wiping down training equipment not sure how many more shut downs our game will survive to be honest! I’m as enthusiastic as they come but stopping and starting is becoming increasingly difficult I personally feel extremely lucky that fife was made exempt from the most recent amateur football shut down and hope that teams continue to follow the rules as best as possible! eastfifearabman
We do all that, even got a wee sponsorship from Tenchneco innovations to provide santiser and handfree stations for folk. We can but do our best I suppose and see where it takes us! SMS and piper

Track n trace isolated all our players that took part on Saturday's game. The boys joked we weren't that good to get close to their players for long enough, but someone made the call to do it at track n trace . It merely recommends avoiding car sharing. There is no direct instruction eg drink bottles, handshakes etc. If it was a specific instruction it would have been made a clear directive. Seems to be completely inconsistent but then that's fitting with this whole farce. Other teams have been cleared to play after a positive test.
