  1. I agree gogsy mainly due to the pandemic a lot of things happened behind the existing committees back which resulted in myself and a few other committee members resigning. However it is what it is and I believe a new committee has been formed to take on the workload. Hopefully the decent guys and refs involved in the league  will be treated just as well in the future as they have in the past.

    Cheers

  2. All teams should remember to inform their Fixture Secretary when arranging all friendlies for insurance purposes.

When playing a team in your own League you have to get permission from the fixture secretary who will record it and then organise a Referee.

When playing a team from a different League you have to fill in an official SAFA Friendly Form (contact your Fixture Secretary for a copy by email) you then fill in all the details of the friendly and return.it to the secretary who will record it and forward it on to Hampden for approval.

Once the approval has been returned from Hampden referees for the games will be arranged..

Both teams have to go through their own leagues to gain permission for a friendly

    Committee.

  3. Good luck to all the teams in the Scottish Cup tomorrow

Home teams remember and return the text with the result to the SAFA and text their score to Wattie

Away teams playing outside Fife should also text their score to Wattie

  4. Donny has it spot on the Cup Finals are booked we have to get the Cups moving ASAP with so many league games we need to get a Cup fixture in the first ballot. If we wait until the first league meeting to draw the League Cup it could not be

included in the fixtures handed out that night. David Blair who is now doing the fixtures and myself did the draw last

week to make sure it was included in the first ballot.

As for the fixtures all Kirkcaldy ,Dunfermline and Dalgety Bay are not available on the first day the league starts

23rd August and some teams have not finalised their home parks yet.

So there is a lot of work going on in the background to try and make sure as many teams as possible get a game on the

    first day of the season.

The other cups will be drawn at the meetings
