Listen you guys are wasting a lot of our time and yours with this ridiculous ranting. Jokers v Crystal game put off by the council. Jokers want to play this important tie at their home park. Whether you think its champions league or not its their preference as they were drawn at home. Most people would understand this you only get one chance in a Cup game if you loose you are out. In league games you can loose a game maybe two and still recover over the rest of the season. Alpha United whose game was off last week and their league game called off again this week made contact with Jokers about the possibility of playing a league game if Jokers could book a neutral venue. Jokers managed to book a neutral park then asked me if they could play Alpha United in a league game. The fact that the Cup tie was postponed and both teams were happy to play at a neutral venue rather than have 3 teams not getting a game I made the decision to let both teams play a league game. Its better with one game going ahead than none this will help if there is a backlog at the end of the season. Having a go at Wattie is pointless he has nothing to do with casting or changing the fixtures other than put the scores into the newspapers. And how on earth would Wattie know if a team has played trialists in a league game or not and who cares if they have the game was yesterday the team lines were posted today and probably wont arrive at Watties house until tomorrow at the earliest so unless he has a crystal ball he would not know until they arrive unlike some of you guys who know very little about the running of the league but have plenty to say. You need to realise how hard this committee works for the league. To be honest we have roughly 850 players 28 Referees and 32 club committee,s most of whom are happy to play in a well run league although only a handful of ill informed people keep having a go at certain people,referees and the committee. If you are not happy with the way the league is run its simple tell your manager and he will take it up with the committee after the league meeting or find another league if not leave the committee to do their job. All this needless sniping can become very time consuming and irritating. Committee

Lets get the facts straight firstly I am not the chairman of the league I am the Fixture Secretary and Ref Coordinator. Secondly the council put both Dunfermline United and Jokers home parks off no one else. This is an important Cup Tie for both teams and Jokers who were drawn at home would like to play their tie against Crystal at home which is understandable regardless of when its played or which players are available. This Cup Tie will be recast probably in the next ballot. The Alpha United team because their game was off last week and the council had put their game off again this week contacted Jokers to see if they would like to play a league game if they could arrange a park. Jokers managed to book Dalgety Bay after speaking to the manager of the Alpha United then contacted me. The bottom line is the Cup tie was postponed and the Alpha United team wish to play a league game against Jokers at a neutral venue. Cant see a problem if the Cup Tie is postponed and both teams can rearrange a game. Its either that or non of the teams get a game. Committee

We will finish up on the 14th December for Christmas and start back on the 11th January Any overflow ( ie. postponed games) from the next round of the Scottish Cup due on the 7th December will be played on the 14th December. Next meeting Tuesday 16th December Committee

if the game Is still in doubt on Sunday morning the procedure is to ask a local referee to check the park no later than 9am and if he deems the park unplayable the home team must call their opponents and referee ASAP to stop them travelling The home team should then call the Match Secretary and let him know the game is off. I have received word that Ex Referee Andy Rennie passed away this week. Andy refereed in Fife Amateur Football for many years until his retirement in season 2009/2010. All afternoon games played at Randolph Park and Beveridge Park will be 2pm kick offs Book your parks for a 2 pm kick off. This gives the teams who have morning games a chance to get changed and leave before the afternoon teams start to use the dressing rooms. It also gives the caretaker a chance to make sure the dressing rooms are fit to use. Home teams please inform your opponents and Referee of the change to the kick off time at least for this ballot Regards John.
