Correct. Valleyfield have indicated that they won't be making the trip to Cupar on Saturday due to injuries and player availability though.

Thanks Carson. You're right about this years achievements. Runner up in the Premier in our 1st season in it and 3 cup finals is a decent effort. The feeling in the camp is still that of disappointment but I think that's more down to the manner in which we've performed over the month of May on the whole. Hopefully the bulk of the team stick together and the addition of a couple more youngsters just buzzing to play football will boost next season efforts for the team.

Valleyfield 1 AMsoccer Club 5 What with both teams suffering very different footballing hangovers after the weekend this was never going to be a classic. It's a shame really that the two teams didn't get the opportunity to play these 2 league games under competitive circumstances. After having 2 close encounters in cup competitions already this season the league fixtures were 2 games we were looking forward to. Fair play to Valleyfield for wrapping up the league with 2 games left though and our bad for not earning enough points to push them all them way.

Indeed, Louis Appere is currently in Roma for a few days after they were impressed when seeing some footage of him in action. There's no doubt Louis can and will go on to do well in football. There's a few youngsters coming through the ranks that have the ability to progress to a decent level in the game and the Club do everything possible to give them the opportunities to do so. It's a shame big Louis couldn't get the better of Sean Flemming and co on Friday night 🙄

Well done to the Pittenweem Rovers tonight. Stage fright got to a few of the AMsoccer lads in the first half I think. Poor decision making coupled with nerves saw us 3-0 down at ht. Pittenweem took the chances well that came along and thoroughly deserved the lead. 2nd half saw a bit of fight from our lads but it was a big ask and we didn't have enough answers. Well done again to the Weem.

AMsoccer Club 2 Pittenweem 2 Disappointing result for us tonight. Created a good number of chances but couldn't convert at the right time. Game was played at a slower pace for the majority of the time. More like a Sunday evening than a Tuesday night fixture to be honest. Fair play to Pittenweem for digging in as I heard half of them spent the last 4 days on a stag doo.

Decent 2nd half after a cagey start from both teams. We created a good few chances but found it difficult to get passed the Valleyfield keeper. The chap on the left wing has scored a peach for the winner in the last couple of minutes. Even after that we created a final chance. The keeper saved well and the young lad hit the bar with the follow up. Over all a decent cup final on a splendid pitch.

Hearty game. Relatively even 1st half ending 1-1. We started the 2nd half brightly and deservedly took the lead 2-1. Denbeath dug deep and came back strong as we faded out the game. 3-2 it finished.
