  1. Well done to CISWO today and all the best in the Premier Division
  2. Not sure what you's are talking about lads??? If we (Sky) beat Ciswo & Torleys in our 2 remaining games we will be on 30 points Ciswo have only us to play & if they lose against us would be on 30 points Society have 3 games left vs DUFC, Minto & Torleys and if they win them all will also finish on 30 points. Kingdom have finished on 29 points. If Ciswo win or draw vs us on Sunday then they will finish 2nd then it's impossible for us or Society to catch them. If us or Society even draw any of these games then Kingdom will finish above us both also. Kingdom can't be involved in any sort of play-off whatever happens.
  3. if we & Society don't win all our games you will finish above us so you's wouldn't have a play off Cambo. We have Ciswo & Torleys to play only
  4. If we win our remaining 2 games and Society win their 3 remaining games, ourselves, Ciswo & Society would all end up on 30 points & with goal difference not coming into it then we could potentially have a 3 way play-off for 2nd place. Has this ever happened in the past & if so how would this work? Would we all just get a home game each but what if we all draw against each other if this happens or we all win a game each? Not that it would happen but it could potentially be never ending unless there are specifics. A bit early to speculate but the potential is there if we were to beat Ciswo on Sunday then beat Torleys and Society win their games.
  5. 6. Regardless of what anyone thinks, crappy excuses or not, we were poor today and lost the game so we're out. It was more about mentality today with us having won the game first time round and whatever you think that definately affected us. Secondly, being on a "neutral" venue in Kirkcaldy certainly didn't feel neutral playing a team from Kirkcaldy, especially with all the pelters that some of our players were getting from behind the goals as well. It certainly had a feeling of things conspiring against us whatever way you look at it. We have to get over it, we have no choice if we want to stand a chance on Wednesday.
  7. we always used to say 'no' to going back to pubs as we don't have a pub however we made sure we informed the home team in the past that this was the case. This season though, I have been getting my lads to make an effort to help support clubs who are relying on sponsors from their pub as some teams rely on this heavily to keep going and are not as fortunate as ourselves with the funding we get from Sky. There is absolutely no excuse for teams agreeing to go back then doing a no show regardless of the result. We got pumped 5-1 yesterday but still got some of our lads to go back after agreeing with Bogarts beforehand. If on the day your lads don't want to go back then managers should be getting confirmation before the game has kicked off to at least inform the home team instead of home teams getting a no show and disappointing their pub. It's unbelievable how many times that teams are doing it. This is happening every single week, how hard is it to say no before the game is played if you have no intention of turning up? A bit common courteousy is all that is needed here
  8. got to stop a boy called John Hendry - 49 goals last season, 27 so far this season having only played 12 games
  9. here's their website Tony: http://www.clubwebsite.co.uk/bullfrogafc/115775/Home
  10. Ross Anderson, Goggs & Stu Mcgirr 3 mate
  11. I didn't get the result scotty,,, 8 clubs and even worse some never text the safa Hi Wattie, i've text you twice mate, I even tried to phone you as noticed you haven't got result up here but your mobile wasn't ringing. It was 7-0 at half-time, Crown decided not to play the second half, fair effort to the guys that turned up but after 30 mins could tell they had enough, Ref was gonna cut game short both halfs however after blowing after 40 mins at half-time the Crown lads conceeded. Felt really sorry for them & for the 5 subs we had that never got a game today. Hope they can turn things around soon
  12. What for John? Racial abuse apparently :-(
  13. Bar Toro A Tams Bar A at half time
  14. Kingdom Utd 0 Sky 2. Ross Anderson & Gordon Miller with goals
  15. Crown 2 Sky 2 - Sky Win 9-8 on pens We dominated the game for 70 mins, leading 2-0 however missed about 9 or 10 clear chances with hitting the post, the Crown keeper making some good saves, poor finishing, mixed with a few dodgy offside decisions whereas the Crown rarely threatened however fair credit for them hanging in there and showing the game was never done despite being outplayed for most of it to get a goal back to make it game on with about 20 to go. The game really should have been done when we had a goal ruled out for offside as the ref said that although there was a second phase of play that our striker was offside from phase 1 yet he never touched the ball til puting it in the net from a cross from our other striker. Crown sparked to life after this and had a fair go after their goal and caused us more problems than the previous 70 mins as we just couldn't find the killer next goal despite missing yet more clear chances in the last 20 and with 3 minutes to go the Crown got their equaliser from what was a clear offside goal Unbelievable Jeff Looked as though luck was going against us & not going to be our day not long after the shootout started with us going 2-0 down before we got back to win 9-8. All the best to The Crown boys, thanks for the great pies & pizza back at Ye Olde Crown Inn and look forward to our meeting in the Scottish Cup Scorers: Morrison, Fisher Pens: 1) Crown - Missed 0-0 1) Sky - Missed 0-0 (Quinn) 2) Crown - Scored 0-1 2) Sky - Saved 0-1 (Fisher) 3) Crown - Scored 0-2 3) Sky - Scored 1-2 (Salt) 4) Crown - Saved 1-2 4) Sky - Scored 2-2 (Miller) 5) Crown - Scored 2-3 5) Sky - Scored 3-3 (Morrison) 6) Crown - Scored 3-4 6) Sky - Scored 4-4 (Grieve) 7) Crown - Scored 4-5 7) Sky - Scored 5-5 (Latimer) 8) Crown - Scored 5-6 8) Sky - Scored 6-6 (Brown) 9) Crown - Scored 6-7 9) Sky - Scored 7-7 (Jellicoe) 10) Crown - Scored 7-8 10) Sky - Scored 8-8 (Macari) 11) Crown - Saved 8-8 11) Sky - Scored 9-8 (Stevenson)
  16. The Minto have nothing to hide, all info available on their great website: http://www.clubwebsite.co.uk/kingsarmsfc0102/251430/Home, would be great if more clubs would do similar..... All the best to The Brig boys, I felt it was a good game yesterday and a good deserved point for us. Both teams tried to get the ball down & play in the right way and the game could've went either way. Have to agree re refs, Bobbsy (who we had on Wednesday) & Damien (yesterday) are two of the best! Don't get everything right but call what they see & feel about situations & happy to explain all decisions and give good banter to the players so players can go out in a relaxed manner. Should've been a late pen for Brig yesterday but as Damien admitted he didn't see it so couldn't call it. Great grub & hospitality at pub, more teams need to go back there as one of their guys said we are the first team to go back in the last 2 years
  17. We finished 9th last time we were in the Division Scotty so our main aim will be to finish higher if possible. Was a really tough league last time out. We were competitive but fell short against many good sides. We were unlucky in a few games not to get enough points to stay up: - Dunfermline Thistle 2 Sky 2 - missed 2 open goals in the last 2 mins to take the win, although Thistle also hit the bar late on; Sky 3 Eddys (Kittys) 3 - we were 3-2 up with 5 mins to go before a deflected shot equalised; Brucefield 1 Sky 1 - 1-0 up with 2 mins to go when our keeper made a great save on to the bar only to rebound to Hoothoots feet to roll in & we also scored in the last minute when Chis was ruled offside although he was definately on; Sky 1 FC Kelty 2 - 1-0 up with 10 mins to go......... Expect it to be as tough this season too! 23. Gartmorn FC from the Forth Valley Welfare League are looking for a friendly this Sunday. They have a new manager & are trying to get things sorted at the moment so are not looking at playing a top notch club but someone that may be competitive to them. If you are a team preferably from Division 3 and looking for a game on Sunday then please give Maxi a call on 07429561220. They are saying they can play home or away. Cheers
  24. Sky FC v Limekilns - 7pm kick-off Wednesday Pitreavie Sky FC v Jeffries United - 11am kick-off Sunday Pitreavie didn't see your post there Scotty
  25. a good run out for both teams i think. was a competitive game although DUFC more match fit than us at this stage which told slightly. Was only our second game of which many of our lads were playing only their first game. We had 20 boys so had 2 completely different teams each half giving everyone a 45 minute run out other than our fullbacks who each got 60. hopefully get a bit more up to match speed in next couple of games and then can start getting the settled side we are looking for to take into the season. All the best lads!
