Ming Posted August 26, 2010 Report Share Posted August 26, 2010 railway tav 4-0 burns tav ST CLAIR TAVERN 8 ACORN 1 Was an even game at 1-1 then our player clashed with goalkeeper after about 20mins played. The ref played on while our goalkeeper lay unconcious until finaly 1 of our players atempted to grab the ball to stop play (while ball was near our goal line). Ref sent him off and gave a pen while our goalkeeper still out cold......... Game finaly stopped........ Ambulance came for him and play resumed with 10 men and a member of the comittee/player in goals which led to the above scoreline. Spoke to keeper after and hes ok which is the main thing. Would love to comment further on ref about this and how he handled the whole game in general but al get in bother so al leave it at that...... All the best to st clair tavern for rest of season. A joke Kirky. And the fees keep going up for these officials. Certainly cannot tar them all with same brush. Hope your keeper recovering ok, is it the felly sticks ? Thought it was a very competitive game, night & day from cowdenbeaths performance on sunday, fought for every ball and played as a team, imo last 15 thought cowden couldve nicked the 3 points. Grub back at the pub was excellent. Aw the best to the crystal for the season, good bunch of lads CMON THE COWDEN cowden strung about 5 passes together all night,worst game ive watched in a long time Strung 3 for 1st goal & 4 for 2nd goal, will let you do the maths 1 pass for first goal ,the cross,ball went to guy who crossed it from a crystal bar defender,cant remember much about the second goal apart from it was offside,any one of the 3 players . Bit advice my son, dont drink on a school night, sounds as though you have missed half the game wi that jibber jabber your talking. Aye you grudge paying for someone like that........... Na sticks packed sun fitbaw in ming,was young boy called grant who was playing 4 us. kingbilly Posted August 27, 2010 Report Share Posted August 27, 2010 (edited) LOCHORE CASTLE 3 JOKERS 2 wtf wd lochore dodgy ref......??? thought ref had his best game av seen him have. gave pen each side both bit soft but prob right decision the red card was a no brainer boy lifted his hands a few times in the 3 mins he was on lol and no dodgy goals so its about all you can ask of am refs . but was gd game to play in. jokers gd side wi some really gd players gd luck for rest eh year and well done to the castle boys last year we would have drawn or even lost that game . cuntona Posted August 28, 2010 Report Share Posted August 28, 2010 Dunfermline Sporting 0 Cottars 1 The game last night wasnt the best both teams just used high ball too much missed midfielders out all together think both teams can play better football. both teams had couple of clear cut chances.game have been draw that would have been alot fairer result.Also the pen thought gaz got some of ball and the man but ref gave it we accepted and currie made good finish thought he was very quiet last night. two red cards for either team spot on .Gaz fouled currie 40 yards in front of goal and we had left back covering and the ref agreed that what mattered. For our teamnight d we had trialist who was midfield in goals for us last id well and had joe nellis not played competitive football for 2 years playing nd 4 on holiday and injured as well overall happy with performance. Also i do think that no one will run away with div 1 . Also an other note good to see baz haldane about yesterday .
