Enjoyed today's game against Denbeath, a good side who played a lot of good football. But it was one of our better performances and a game we could have got something from if we'd made better decisions in the final third.

They scored on the break after our best spell in the first half and though they shaded the 2nd half, it took a penalty to seal their win. A pen which the ref reckons he had a clear view of from his position on the half way line.

Denbeath deserved their win overall but I get the feeling refs find it much easier to give big decisions against us than many others.

Well, Strollers v Lomond looked as if it might be a good game of football on a braw day for it. The Lomond defence could not play the long ball out of defence, it was either into touch or to a Strollers player. However 4 goals & what looked like a cast iron penalty for the Vic's + a man sent off for the Strollers made for quite an entertaining game. Chances for both teams throughout the match but the ball control from both sides left a lot to be desired. The ball in the air for too much of the game and the players not playing the width of the park stifled the passing play. Strollers the better passing side, and still looking for the win with a man down.

Valleyfield 3-0 Methilhill

Never easy going to Valleyfield and we had our minds on next weeks fixtures and rested a few boys and keeper.

Game got off poor for us man sent off in 5mins last man pull and worse gave away a pen 3mins later.

rest of the half both teams had chances. Second half the same both teams loads of chances and we should have got ourselfs back in the game.

Valleyfield finished the game in last 10mins with two quick goals, tired legs and man down finally took its toll.

Will say apart from the usual banter from touchlines, game was played with no malice and not a bad challange in site.

gid luck in next round lads and thanks for the hospitality back at the pub.

Fair summary of the game today - don't think Valleyfield were at their best, but I was very impressed with the Methill boys trying to play football out from the back and not just humping it forward at the first opportunity. Would definitely be a good addition to premier league if they come up - good luck for the run in.

Tough season for Portmoak and Glenrothes Athletic but they and their players deserve massive credit for continuing to put a team out each week and I'd rather have committed teams like them in the league rather than the one season wonders that fold after their first defeat!

Yep you're right Berti, it's good to see them sticking it out and credit to them and in fact to all of us in all clubs as we know its hard, we've all gone through it and sometimes people don't understand the full story, their wil always be seasons like this for clubs

I personally think with the state of Amateur football and teams struggling/folding, all of us in ams football need to put our differences behind us and get round the table and see if we can't make a real complete football set up

With all teams as one we could be a real force in Scottish football............ask Leven Utd

This is not getting on the band wagon for amalgamation but to look a developing for the future of the game and clubs
