This is all a bit sickening to be honest. I considered DB as one of the most stable clubs out there. I know no one is safe but Andy, with the exception of his kids has put his life into that team and unfortunately it is a reflection of the way things are these days. Boys just see it as having a kick about with their mates or worse. I would have loved to play for Andy but never got the chance, although played against him many times. I've never met a more committed amateur manager. I realise this is about the team but my sympathy is with Andy

Swifts are pish. Did they no get pumped 8-2 off a Sunday League pub team Still I reckon it'll be 2-0 to the Swifts I u were punted pal . Cottars team asked if they could do pre season with us . So a was obviously talkin to there manager . A asked where's useless Shaun, they replied would u have him in your team pal, a laughed said na your right bout time seen sense. U must o made some money out them over yrs . Was that for every game u never played. Keep them comin fat boy... Am enjoying this saves me shopping wi missus.. :rollsmile: Harry, honestly never heard so much pish in all my life mate. The 2 of them were told 2 weeks before the season finished that I was leaving after the Lochore game to spend more time with my family. Truth be told I was sick of some of the pish going on. Stevie wanted to play a lad who had played 3 trialist matches already under another lads name against Lochore who's Club Sec is Wattie Moodie (registration sec for Sunday Ams) in the last game of the season. Boys coming into the team and just getting a game without training you know the score Harry. It's soul destroying watching from the side of the park especially when you put the time and effort into the club. I have all the time in the world for Stuart. Had it not been for the 2 of us raising money and finding sponsors for the club for strips, pitches etc. the team wouldn't be worth running. A lot of that has been forgotten and it pisses me right off. Best thing the club done for training was doing it beside your lot but even then they thought they'd be better off doing it themselves with 8-9 boys. To be fair though you were more interested trying to poach players with Mitch (Cathcart, Currie, Brockie etc ) Harry Bella Fonte?

Thanks to all for taking part over the last two days. Congrats to Kelty for taking the title. An extra thanks to all the staff at Dunfermline Academy for all their help putting it all together. Also thank you to the refs, I know everyone gets on refs backs at times and all refs admit they make mistakes sometimes but at the end of the day the tourney wouldn't have happened without them, plus they were dying after all those games between two of them over the two days as well. I'm glad it was over the two days this year if only to see how it would run and I think it's fair to say most people are hanging that played. I'll definitely be going back to the previous format for next year. It seems like everyone enjoyed it and i'll get the new trophy to Kelty as soon as it arrives. Cheers Boys Gav
