News Posted December 20, 2010 Report Share Posted December 20, 2010 Dundee caretaker Barry Smith has been named manager of the month in Scotland's First Division despite his side suffering a 25-point deficit. The Tayside outfit failed in their bid to have a 25-point penalty overturned after going into administration. Smith was appointed caretaker manager after financial problems forced the club to release manager Gordon Chisholm along with several players The Dee have not lost a match since, winning five from their last eight.
