steve b Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 Kingdom 1-2 McAndrews Only one team tried to play football while the other was more interested in trying to start a scrap One of our players was head butted off the ball which the referee missed and still didn't take action when the offending player admitted guilt to it Cheers for coming back to our pub though... oh wait no they didn't Sounds a bit like sour grapes since we scored 2goals in the last 5 mins . Kingdom conned the ref a few times with diving for free kicks .didn't come back to pub because of the feeling between the teams . Felt it was better stay away . Not sour grapes at all we threw it away in the last 5, I'm sure we wouldn't have asked you back after the back if we thought there'd be trouble, as has already been said it should have stayed on the park I agree what happens on the pitch should stay on the pitch but ur guy kept it going after the game so we decided against coming back incase of anything else happening . Hindsight is a great thing . Maybe we should have came back to the pub . I don't remember the diving but granted the referee was terrible for both teams so may have seemed like a dive when in fact it was just a soft foul given? To be fair mate what happens on the park should finish on the park. A we bit curtousy attending the other teams boozer even for a can of juice helps clubs these days. we played Jokers earlier in the season, and it got a bit tasty. at the whistle, all the boys on both teams headed back to the boozer for a scran and a drink. poor excuse Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Brian.H Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 imo the league is gonna be between 5 teams us(lochore), jokers, eddys, kinghorn, cottars, and it will go right to wire as all teams will take points off each other and i also think if they keep up their form that dixons and dunfermline sporting will cause a few upsets! we have left to play jokers(a), kinghorn(h)/(a), cottars(a), eddys(h)/(a), dunf sporting(h), hendies(a), weavers(h), feaurs(a), star(h)/(a), dixons(h), phoenix(a) so we personally have a tough run in and a few games in hand to catch up on Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
