Cookie 2 Me 2 Garry bell Kyle young and an og went 2 watch this game after the eagles no show barley done awrite first half boy scored a 40 yard screamer no sure if he meant it tho always thot tht kelty would go on 2 win comfortably tho after seeing wee bob n cookie rip them 2 shreds for pace going up the hill first half!!! good couple eh goals fae kelty tae cookies lob in the first half then wee bobs in the second were prob the pick eh the bunch but a missed the lst couple so couldnt comment on them Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Brian.H Posted April 18, 2011 Report Share Posted April 18, 2011 Brig Tavern 0 - 3 Lochore Castle game started off even first 15/20 mins both teams playing good football but not much chances being created apart from a few half chances from us and couple from brig, felt we were wanting it more than brig boys and we started to control game from then and scored 1st when bob mcrae went through 1 on 1 and put a perfect chip over the advancing brig keeper, ht 1-0, we went into 2nd half knowing we needed another goal to settle game and second half we were better team creating more chances and pushing forward more finally got 2nd with about 15 mins left when cele burst through and rounded the keeper well before slotting it home, third came about 5 mins from end when ball was put in from free kick and cal flicked a backwards header over keeper and we just held the game out from then. glad we got through on merit and not being handed tie after what happened last week. good bunch of lads at the brig and they kept going until the end but felt we were too strong on the day, good few players at brig as well thought there number 8 in cm(craigie i think??) was one of their best players today, all the best to brig for rest of season look forward to quarter final on wednesday against dunfermline thistle Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
