Folding... It's with deep regret that Golden Acorn has folded today. This was our 10th season going and was hoping to try see this season out but after not been able to field a team 4 out of last 5 games and the last 3 weeks on a row we have decided enough is enough..Was no easy decision as been with club since day 1 but not fair on the boys who are there n just want to play fitbaw and the players from other teams.. Apologies to kitty's today and the other teams that we haven't showed against this season. Gutted but feel we have no choice... Dono what else to say really but cheers to all as we've had some good times over the years...... Aw the best. Kirk

Lost alot of boys fae last season so rebuilding which never easy. Full strength! Lol never had that luxury yet this season but I would like to think so tho mate..

Aye there a good side.. Gave us our Totties couple weeks back. Was a mid Weeker n were down to bare bones but still.. played us off the park.

Not so good.. Alot of teams struggling the now which isn't good to see.. Struggling Masel to get 11 boys on the park every week a must admit..Thistle folding,railway and now kitty's (if true that is) amongst others. That's some big teams calling it a day.. Nae good for Sunday fitbaw.

no kirk you wrong,, cant register after 10pm sat night AND never on a sundaywell said wattie,saturday 10pm not sunday at 10:45 so use cheated to knob wipe whole squad unregistered But the difference being they were registered prior to game being played yeah? Are you really in a position to have a go at anyone for cheating, being a committe member at Bogarts? Had papers with all signed but Rab handed in late a think but i was informed ok for season .. Wednesday explanation from bogarts?

Well a was informed that it was all sorted for start of season so a can only go with that info mate... Thats a issue for Rab as he dealt with all that. This topic...Wednesday was bad crack mate. Its the rule which is in question but doesnt seem like nowt can be done about it tho.

Cant make a protest when you find out the info on a sat night. Which is the 3 days after the game but then told no contacts available on a sat night to even lodge a proper protest so what chance have you got....Soon as i found out info i was in touch with john and comitee on the saturday night but seems no good... Bogarts never had a team to play this tie which would mean other team is awrded points usually by walkover but they draft in 6 unsigned players to fulfill fixture and must of knew (unless thick as shit) that they would get cought and lose points... End of day bad crack from bogarts,they cheated simple as that... So if some1 has no team just draft in any1 to play and if win the game then perfect as will lose points but least other team get nowt.... Very unfair rule IMO.
