lovejoy
Queensferry 1 Valleyfield 2 Hard fought 3 points today Queensferry took the lead in the first half just before half time in a pretty even first half.Valley upped the tempo in the second half.got a penalty in the first 5 mins of the restart and laid siege to the ferry goal in what was becoming a game of missed chances for us.We managed to get the breakthrough with 5 mins left.made hard work of it today and not at our best, but managed to get the 3 points.Weve played better and been beat this season,so just glad to get away with the points. All the best to the Ferry boys for the rest of season. The lad that got taken to hospital has ligament damage.Ref had a good game. Have to be the best side weve played n league this season by far, missed chances in first half as did valleyfield but if we converted more than 1 we might have got a better result. Against the wind second half was always gonna be hard against a good side but as you say you missed a lot of chances, we should have had pen just after going behid and 1 very close offside but thems the breaks when down bottom of league. Dont get me wrong valleyfield had by far the better chances especially in second half but thought we battled well and maybe deserved something out of it. All the best to valley boys for rest of season and in my opinion certs for promotion!!! PS glad to hear wasnt a break to lad that got taken to hospital but sometimes ligament damage can take longer to heal, speedy recovery to him tho! Also have to agree with you Chic ref had a very good game today, not easy being a ref but in my opinion best ref weve had all season!! Not his fault he can play him if he's be told that darren was released which he was. some result for pittenweem think that is prob kennoways first defeat at home for over 2 years.... try 5 years mate totally agree with Stmoan, some kennoway players should take it as a compliment that pittenweem were so happy to have beat Kennoway. Shame if the semi has been taken away from them, considereing the player in question has played most of the season for pittenweem. So, was the boy not allowed to play Kennoway or has he not been signed correctly the whole season?

He was a pittenweem player and then decided to go to St monans in january but after a few weeks decided he couldn't settle in the area (haha) and went back to pittenweem recently. Aparrantly verbally pittenweem been told by officials that he was good to play against kennoway. However people changing stories now. Also St monans knew they had kept his release form and in anticipation of a pittenweem victory at kennoway they had a suspended player watching so they could tell kennoway about the player being Very bitter from St monans, rules are rules but kennoway know that they are not in the semis through merit. They probably don't care either.

But I think they have look at themselves for their mistake.
