Their success is all the more remarkable in that they have achieved it with the help of boys like Lyall Shaw, Sean Simpson and a few others deemed not good enough to play for Glenrothes after the appointment of their illustrious chairman. Eck Davidson must be a candidate for MOTY having seen off 4 Glens managers during his time in the juniors. Ian Paterson and Christopher Gay who were both unfairly treated by Dougie Cooper along with one of the best secretaries in Fife Kenny Bayne have certainly had the last laugh.
