agree on all counts duggers , but what about the crowd for a friendly on a cold wednesday night surely shows that the community will stick by us whatever level we play at next year and where ever we play, you have to admit no every team has the ability to attract crowds like that mate, and once we settle down and sort things out on the playing side we will be fine trust me
and we havent ruled out being in the kingdom next year by a long shot
you cannot be serious about going into the kingdom next season, if you do it would be just short of criminal , what is to happen to star hearts ? this season you take your kennoway team to star , hence a clear out of loyal star players , then next season you take your team away back to kennoway leaving star in limbo . please correct me if i am wrong , but reading your post it looks that way.
not at all, im only saying there is a CHANCE of the two teams merging ,and that way star is guaranteed football will be played at treaton for years to come, and any merged team would play from star (hasten to add only my opinion ,) and the kennoway community showed last night they would back that if it happened, would you rather star folded as it was clear that was going to happen
the last thing i want would be the greatest ever fife ammie team to fold , that was the reason for my post.
greatest ever fife ammie team already folded few years ago. kway were a Great team but not a patch on NH.
correct mate, never seen the star when in there heyday but norton house over a twenty year period won some amount of trophies,i had the privelige to play for norton house for a couple of seasons and won a few trophies with them ,some great players in those days and one who stood out for me was davie berry ..........................i would say that benarty over a 5 year period were better than norton house but its all about opinions and norton set the standards for other teams to follow, which have seen clubs like kettle ,strathmiglo, eastvale, benarty, cupar, all have there domination period ,
IMO, norton hoose are the best and most successful ammie team fife has had and im sure stats will prove that. Although there was a season in particular around early/mid 90's i remember very well as a young lad following benarty and to this day i havent seen a better team throughout a single season.
even strath winning the league going through whole season undeafeated ??? which is still a record to date :)
