  1. Anyone looking for a game on Sunday 26th ?
  2. Glenrothes Strollers 1998s are seeking a new coaching team for next season. The league winners and Fife Cup finalists are looking to go to under19s. Most of the current squad are prepared to stay at The Strollers and build on their success. A new management team would inherit and great bunch of talented and disciplined players. Notes of interest and applications, particularly from qualified and experienced coaches with a desire to develop and achieve are invited. Please contact myself Alan Roberts in the first instance. 07738 438 755 cdo@gsc,org.uk It is important to the club to do all we can to keep this team together and under The Strollers banner.
  3. Yeah tough conditions for Strath v Lumphinans meant it was never going to be pretty. 2 early pens made it even tougher for the home side, but they did well to get back to go in level at half time. Anybodys game in the 2nd half although the visitors always looked more likely. A great save, although some say it was the bar, by the Lumphinans keeper at 2-3 then a pinpoint clearance to,launch a counter attack made a big difference which resulted in a goal made the game safe. Lumphinans even had the luxury of missing their 3rd pen of the match.
  4. Teams should be doing all they can to play games if and when they can ? I know wizard winds a few up here but this time common sense prevails ?....surely
  5. Took in the Eastvale match, fairly even first half both teams trying to knock it about. Eastvale capitalised on a mistake from am to take the lead and never really looked troubled after that, and 2 harsh red cards certainly made it a struggle. Fair play to them tho at one point it looked like they had 11 and Eastvale had 9 as they managed to keep the ball impressively. Overall AM lacked a wee bit up top, young ones did ok for them obviously missed Safo the day. Eastvale the bearded centre mid was outstanding, big Paul McBride was solid and big centre half number 3 looked decent with some gd shouts at his own touchline No sure why the the young sub walked off at the end tho.
  6. Fair comment Dugman, although we would have liked them to have worked harder for the first 3, no complaints that the best team won on the day, some fairly decent players in their team and very well organised
  7. You can if you wish take those 2003s all the way right through potentially to amis. Once they get to 11 aside, which is when they go to 1st year the high school (August 2015) your team will no longer be in Ceffsa. As things stand now you would join the fife development league (FFDL)and play 11s against many of the teams/clubs you play now, but also those from the West of Fife too. Your current club may not have these teams in place at the moment, but there is no reason why they couldnt down the line......
  8. Ma bairn was at and e this avo with a broken wrist, and saw a footballer with a horrific shin break, sounds like same guy, and certainly wasn't pretty from what he has said. Shame that different opinions taint what happened today, as they will need to do it all again next week. Hope the guy is on the mend soon and the team/club stick by him
  9. Great set up and a right decent team on the park
