  1. I was responding to a comment that said they ‘heard’ we played 4/5 1st team players and a player wasn’t registered. Interested to know where they heard that from...
  2. Just to clear up, no first team players today played for reserves. Not one player was played that wasn’t on the team sheet. Before the game the ref noticed that one of the players on the team sheet didn’t have the number next to the name. He asked the number and it was written on the sheet. Sorted. Some people cannot deal with the fact they were beaten by a better team. No mention of issues with markinch team sheet or if you’re gonna get technical, a player who was subbed changed shirts with a player who was on the pitch. Good effort though.
  3. Haha I just spent a good solid 46 seconds trying to work it out too sherp
  4. As mentioned above, 1 of the boys was given a run out tonight as he hasn’t had game time for the first team. Most of the boys tonight have been on the end of both doings that you have given us already this season. You had the majority of the play tonight and could have gone 2-1 up. We grafted hard and got the win. With all due respect, if we had had 8 of the 11 from the first team tonight, the score line would have been very different given the form they are in.

  8. No probs mate appreciate you doing that. She was pretty upset and my wife took both my girls away at half time. That must have been the reason we lost.... hahaha
  9. Lost 2-1 to hearts of beath tonight. Threw it away after a relatively comfortable first half. Well done to hob on their win. Probably deserved to be honest. Shame about some of the kids though. A kid in a hob top told my daughter she was a junkie bitch and gave her the middle finger. She's 9 years old. Clearly that kid has a bright future.....
  10. AM Soccer 4-0 Kirkcaldy.
  11. Referee was brutal for both teams, never a penalty, never a sending off for the young lad at the end. well done to ammies tho dug deep and got the result in the end, didn't realise rocky had started playing with the ammies at Center half! Boy at left back loved a bite!Penalty was a stone waller I was right In front of it and I'm the first to admit if we've been lucky. Never a red for si either. Apart from two offside decisions the referee was more favourable to you guys in my opinion. When I asked where a foul was his reply was "because I said so" poor refereeing tbh. AM play good football though, it's refreshing to see such organisation in what they are trying to achieve as a team. It's been a new experience for most of the boys in the reserves this season with most of them aged between 16 and 18. They have learned a lot about playing in the men's league and will continue to get better. Good to see them playing the right way.
  12. AM Soccer res 0-4 Glenrothes strollers Beaten by the better team today. Second half was more positive than first but still a long way to go in the boys development. Bizarre shout from the ref at HT. we were 3 down and giving instruction to the players on how to adjust the second half shape the stop the flow of goals. Ref blows whistle after 5 mins of being off. Says you are only allowed 7 mins for half time then says 'hurry up, it's only amateur football..' his performance mirrored his attitude.... All the best things the strollers for the season.
  13. Amsoccer 0 - 5 Hurlford Beaten by a better side. Not much more to say. Good character in the second half to not concede.
  14. That was my point. No sense in the top Kingdom teams being in the bottom league. It doesn't benefit anyone having them there. Use the addition of Kingdom teams as a point in time to form the new association and restructure the leagues. As I said, the level that each team plays at will soon fall into place. What an association it could be.... If the FAFA teams remember when we actually had meaningful talks with Kingdom about a merger initially FAFA were going to have 4/5 teams in the Top league and Kingdom the rest. They went back to their meeting and came back saying they wanted more so we agreed and were only going to have 3 teams in top league. The reason we agreed to it was to get the merger done as we could see in a couple of seasons the leagues would have sorted themselves out. They went back to their meeting and suddenly they withdrew from all talks. It would appear that some clubs suddenly vetoed the whole idea for some reason. Now I say "clubs" when it might be individuals in the clubs who attend the meetings on there behalf don't want the merger to happen for whatever reason. I wonder if it would be possible and would players turn up to hold a mass meeting where each person there gets a vote for or against a merger. This way if it is true that the players want a merger then all they need do is turn up and vote. If the majority of all registered players and club committee members in Fife voted then everyone would know what is wanted and where we go from there. Great idea. You could technically set up and online vote. Get a list of players and staff from each club and when they vote online they enter their details and are marked off the list. Create a document that everyone can read to outline the proposal then get a vote. and the fans should get a vote also / I have been a fan and x player for many years and wanted a merger long ago .but have no connection with any club . Of course. It would be a link that can be used by non affiliated people also.

  17. Just out of interest, taking the league committees out of it, what would be the issues that arise if say all kingdom teams decided to move to the FAFA? Going into the bottom league would be the obvious one. Although if enough teams came over to the FAFA it could be restructured again to accommodate these teams i imagine. Obviously, it wouldn't make sense to have the top teams in the Kingdom, in the bottom division. I don't think any teams would object to the restructure ensuring teams are placed in the correct league. If your team is good enough, it will rise to the top eventually anyway. The whole association would then find its level after 2 or 3 years. I think if Fife is going to get stronger, its a must for there to be one association. There are obviously other issues that may arise but I can't see any reasons (that can't be fixed) why anyone would oppose it? Clubs have the power to make it happen and if one association is in favour then it should be straight forward enough? In theory or course...
  18. Good result as they are a capable team. They actually folded at the start of the season and then came back about 2 weeks later as few boys and manager had jumped to Falkirk juniors soon as the juniors folded all went back to Cadora. To be fair, I would say they are the best team we have played this season. We stopped them playing by our relentless pressing and limited them to, i think, two shots on target. Couple of their boys spat the dummy early on and they seemed more focussed on that than actually playing.
  19. AM soccer 5-0 Bo'ness. Best performance of the season. They had some decent players but also a couple of head bangers. The ginger braveheart boy up front was awful. Still trying to work out what his role in the team was apart from crying to the ref and thinking he's solid... Well done lads. Superb from everyone.
