Atheltico Dunfy Posted August 26, 2010 Report Share Posted August 26, 2010 (edited) Dunfermline Sporting 0 Cottars 1 The game last night wasnt the best both teams just used high ball too much missed midfielders out all together think both teams can play better football. both teams had couple of clear cut chances.game have been draw that would have been alot fairer result.Also the pen thought gaz got some of ball and the man but ref gave it we accepted and currie made good finish thought he was very quiet last night. two red cards for either team spot on .Gaz fouled currie 40 yards in front of goal and we had left back covering and the ref agreed that what mattered. For our team we had trialist who was midfield in goals for us last night did well and had joe nellis not played competitive football for 2 years playing nd 4 on holiday and injured as well overall happy with performance. Also i do think that no one will run away with div 1 . Also an other note good to see baz haldane about yesterday . Cheers for game cottars all the best. Pitbauchlie are a good side and will cause a few teams problems. All the best for the rest of the season. Was a good game to watch tonight, game of two halfs, think Pitbauchlie had the better of the 1st then yourselves in the 2nd. Think teams are going to take points off of each other this year. Think the win for us was the right result. We must've missed about 6 sitters, myself included probably the worst of the bunch. Got a bit excited when I saw the goals!! We made it very difficult for ourselves. I've got too much respect for you's to be too harsh but we could've won quite convincingly if we took all our chances and I only recall one clear cut chance that your number 14 should've got on the end of. It was a decent competitive game played in the right spirit except a couple of flashpoints which ref dealt with (perhaps harshly but dealt with!) All the best for the rest of the season. Taking nothing away from Lochore they played very well last night and all the best to Wattie, Lee and the boys for the rest of the season. Don't know whats up with us the now, was the same at pre season getting a goal or 2 then letting teams back in which we never did last season. im more than sure it will all come good again and teams will take points of each other in this league. Baz_bruce Posted August 26, 2010 Report Share Posted August 26, 2010 are aw the jokers boys away on holiday or power cuts or wot sorry for goin on lash last nite and not having time to post. thought 1st 15mins ov game was end to end with both teams having plenty ov the ball and lochore having a few half chances before we scored a well worked goal to go 1-0 up then we stopped and lochore controlled the next half hour, apart from b hittin the bar and a good save from a g jack header on the break it was all lochore till half time, silly pen to give away when keeper was gettin it anyway, and last goal was a great finish although as soon as the free kick was flicked on a thought the guy was offside. didnt think we got many 50/50 decisions tonight but you cant always get them, gotta accept it cause think we had 6 clear cut chances to lochores 1 in the 2nd half and only have ourselves to blame for not taking anything from the game. was funny when a turned in the box and was about to put a cross in though and compo poked it out for a corner only for the ref to give a bye kick, even compo was laughing at him. aw the best to all at lochore castle for the rest ov the season until the return, am sure we will come good again, hopefully starting sunday, and start gettin a run ov results.
