  5. I'm sure the "7 clubs" you mention here will voice their concerns (if they have any) to their committees and will also vote for the proposal submitted with this in mind. Could it possible be that they accept the majority want change and are happy to go with it?
  6. I'm struggling to understand what benefit having another season to play for places in a new league set up will have? Surely every team sets out to win as many games as possible and finish as high up the league as they can? I find it hard to believe each team hasn't been doing that this season. We have to take the leagues as they are come the end of the season and focus on voting through our clubs tonight the proposals we wish to carry to the executive meeting tomorrow night between both committees.
  7. Plenty opinions as well as the same old repetitive moans. 1 week for any club to put together a proposal as to the league make up for discussion at the next meetings. Put up or shut up
  8. We've been here before a few years back and I seem to remember we all had a lengthy debated at the general meeting with the decision from FAFA to give the Kingdom League a blank canvass with regards to the league make up and it wasn't entertained by the Kingdom League committee. Before we talk about the make up of divisions and who starts in what league, is anyone willing to take the bull by the horns and attending a kingdom league meeting to get their thoughts on amalgamation? We have 2 options. Option 1, we get agreement from the Kingdom committee to amalgamate and we sit down and decide what happens with who enters what division or, if the sticking point is the committee and their disapproval to change rather than the clubs, we approach all kingdom league teams and have them resign and apply to join the FAFA.
  9. A few posts here unhappy with the format of the cup and fingers pointed towards Tommy Doyle. The format was communicated via email and all secretaries had just under a week to vote on the cup being regionalised or an all in draw. 3 voted for regional groups, 15 voted for an all in draw and 11 clubs didn't bother to vote. If there is fingers to be pointed it's to the club secretaries not fully communicating the cup format and options and not Tommy!
  10. Due to rearrangement, St Monans Swallows are now looking for a friendly on Saturday 13 August at St Monans. Anyone interested please contact Martin on 07969773075.

  13. Well done to Leslie. Cruel way to loose a final from St Monans point of view - an 88th minute winner via an own goal but take nothing away from the way Leslie battled back. John Moir an absolute embarrassment tonight. I suppose his only contribution in this seasons Wallace Wright Cup was from the sidelines and he chose to focus on the St Monans centre back who had him in his pocket in the previous encounter between the sides. Sore looser and pathetic individual.
