Organised sport

meaning same protocols being followed as the last time and imo this was how the spread of the virus rose to high amounts as people were car sharing and not wearing masks .... 70 players self isolation in space of 2 weeks

too many risks imo as back to soon

I imagine SFA wont allow us to go straight back into games anyway, will most likely start off with non contact/small groups like we did last time, as you’re right it probably is too soon to go straight into the mix of things.

But who knows if 29th March is when Sturgeon will put us.

Grass roots in England back 28th March adults and kids  then we won’t be far behind it. Vaccine roll out and cases dropping all the time  let’s get the games going in April. Absolutely pointless not doing it and Eveyone playing friendlies all summer as that’s all that’s going to happen. We have been idle long enough. Follow the same protocols untill they are relaxed or lifted in June like Down south.

21st June is best case scenario for all distancing stuff to be relaxed. Things will still be restrictive throughout March/April/May mate. But i think if Sturgeon follows closely with England, games in April are a possibility, but just for your own sake I wouldn’t count on it, she took much longer to relax things football wise vs England last year.

Should never have started in my opinion, didn’t have to be a rocket scientist to know this virus was here to stay and there would be further spikes. What little window of opportunity there was only ever going to be should have been used to finish off last season. It was so obvious even to the most positive fudd starting another was only going to have the same result.

Pedro you and I are polar opposites when it comes to beliefs but don’t let your staunchness cloud your judgement. Boris is nothing more than a lying cant. You’ve advocated for common sense to prevail from day one so are only contradicting yourself if as you believe Nicola will take a more cautious approach. Doesn’t bear thinking about the mess we’d be in if we were governed by a D-Ross linesman.

Definately bud. Will all go by data so hopefully as restrictions are lifted the cases/deaths carry on reducing and we get back as soon as possible.

Ian we all want back as soon as possible pal and you’re spot on data will determine when. The problem is, even with the vaccine there is potential for that data to head in the opposite direction. Try telling that to Mr Knowall. If 5 professionals refuse to obey the rules what chance is there of fudds like him being trusted.

Let's just hope that doesn't happen and we just resume when possible. Some guys won't even return when we do resume as they have been out that long and will call it a day.For all the people banging on about being safe, teams not adhering to the safety measures ect on here, I wonder how many of them have obeyed by all the rules for the year.  Light at the end of a long and dark tunnel for many but hopefully whether it be April/May/June we are back at it.

From the very top professionally right down to ammy level, you’ll find that its football that will get beat with a stick when it comes to rule breaking.

A young footballer can make a mistake and call for questions being asked and threats about cancelling the sport on national TV, but senior politicians can travel a country knowing they are positive with Covid and not step down.

Nothing will change this year. Football or any outdoor sport isnt the issue, no data whatsoever suggests it is, but its one of the many things that takes the fall.
